    Lovely guys. Great value for money. Very lucky to have these guys so close to us. I.M.O The previous reviewer should piss off to Bike Barn if he doesn't like their service and take his sermon of customer service advice with him too :)

    Last week I took my mountain bike in for a quote on getting the gear cable replaced and refitted,…read morethe staff at the time quoted me $25. On tuesday I took my mountain bike in to have the torned gear cable replaced and refitted. The owner provided me a new quote of $33. I advised him of the previous quote agreement that was provided to me but unfortunately he refused to honour it. I went along with the repair job anyway. I then was set with the expectation by the owner that it 'shouldn't take' long for the repair job to be completed. Today (Three days later) I went back to check for progress as I had not received any communication from them despite me providing them with my mobile number. Unfortunately it appears that the repairs had not even begun yet... The owner advises it would be completed within an hour time which thankfully he honoured his words this time around. When it was time for payment I politely asked the owner why it took so long for the repair to be completed, his reponse was 'there is a queue'. I didn't even get a thank you or an apology. I think I was the one who thanked him. He did do a pretty good decent job on the repairs though. He also allowed me to use their air pump to inflat my tyres free of charge which is nice I guess. Just some constructive feedback for the business: 1. It would had been nice to show some empathy towards your customers. 2. It would of been nice if you do honour a reasonable quote set by your staff previously even if you believe the quote provided to me were incorrect. It's not the customer's fault that they were misquoted. 3. Communication: Keep the customer in the loop of the progress especially if the job has to be delayed if the expectation you previously set cannot be met. 4. Apologise to your customers for unexpected delays. It's not hard to say sorry and a thank you. Your customers would appreciate you more and give you more respect. 5. Improve your customer service skills would be good. People who actually have a good experience with you would most likely come back for returned business. I hope others would get a far better experience than I did at Mt Albert Cycles and Mowers. Rating : 5/10
