Zero stars!!!!! I want to share this for people that take their children to this dentist or looking…read morefor a dentist ! My suggestion avoid Oregon Ped with everything you have! Thankfully I went in to the room with my 10 year old daughter while she had to get a silver cap on her tooth. -Starting off, my daughter has gone to the dentist since she started getting teeth, she's never been too scared. Yea it sucks but she gets through it. -Amelia NOW has been traumatized by this dentist TWO times!!!! -First time he pulled the tooth with out her mouth being numb as she screamed in pain he continued to pull her tooth ignoring the fact she felt it!!! (Dad was there not me this time)As a parent I just thought maybe it was a flop and won't possibly happen again. Wow was I wrong -moving on to yesterday 9-28-23 Amelia asked me if what they were doing hurts, I don't know so I asked the nurse while Amelia was getting prepped, the nurse said it may hurt a little just like a pinch (I will not lie to my daughte, if I say it won't hurt and it does then she will not ever trust me again) "THE DENTIST CAME IN AND SAID WELL NO WONDER SHE IS PANICING, you think I'm going to hurt her?!" Who is this man!? Second time I was in the room because she was having a panic attack . I tried to calm her down but I wasn't helping, the DOCTOR LITTERALLY SAID TO MY DAUGHTER"we can do this the hard way or the easy way, hopefully you chose the easy way" WTF (I should have walked out at this point) now mind you my daughter is the sweetest kindest hearted person ever and I can barely yell at her for anything!! She finally calmed down after the "laughing gas"(honestly I don't think he gave her enough of that) then he started doing whatever before her mouth was numb AGAIN! as she screamed it hurts he tried to keep going until I had to yell at him "if she says it hurts it hurts, Jesus Christ !!!!" Then he gave her another shot to help numb again. Horrible experience and I'll never put my kids in that awful situation again! Just horrible. Not comforting at all and very rude ! If you do end up taking your child to this dentist please go back to the room with them. He does not listen to the children and just wants to get what he needs to get done. He has too many patience and not enough time to care. Please please please, this man is awful and now my daughter(and myself) is traumatized by the man and most likely all dentists! Please, for the sake of your children. Edit :I filed a complaint to the board and emailed story to wtol and 13 abc news. Let's hope we get him shut down so no other child has to experience this ever again!

While at first we were happy with the treatment that Dr. Branam's office provided to our children,…read morewe quickly began to question some of his methods. The fact that the parents were not allowed to go with the child for the exam to "encourage independence" seemed like an acceptable idea even though we were somewhat uncomfortable with it. This has led to our planned exit from entrusting Dr. Branam with our children's care. The problem has risen because without the parent's consent on multiple occasions now they have treated our children with uncovered procedures thus sticking us with bills for uncovered procedures that the insurance will not cover. Not allowing the parents to accompany the children in the exam rooms, providing treatments without consent, then expecting the parents to pay the uncovered bill is totally unacceptable. Although they may specialize in pediatric dentistry and handle the children well, they obviously are lining their pockets with additional money by performing services not covered by insurance and doing so without any interactions with the parent. After 3 instances of getting stuck with uncovered expenses that we were not consulted on, we will be looking for a new dentist.

While they had theor phones saying they were just on the line but when I drove the 30 mins to the office they were indeed closed with no sign when they would reopen. They were closed for 4 days for Christmas but again phones and office door said nothing about when they would reopen and then emergency on call number told me this location didn't exist and left me with no advice ! When I finally reached someone they offered him a week away until i complained!

We will come back to that. Regardless of my bad gut feeling I let them apply braces. They fell off within a week which is unheard of. A few months later the attendant accidentally broke off a bunch of brackets and didn't tell me. They also left my daughter's palette expander in for 2 years which is grossly negligent and far too long. It was supposed to come out after 6 months. She was in pain for days and deep wounds were left behind. We are near the end of treatment and my daughter's front teeth and asymmetrical to the point that other people notice and make fun of her. They told me braces aren't perfect and if I want that fixed we shouldn't have only pulled one tooth. Which is what I said from the beginning. They are negligent with their care plans. Both Dr. Singh and Dr. Martins were in charge of her care plan at different times and both failed her.
