I live in New York & this is the second time (February 2017) that I've bought from this company. My…read morefirst purchase, albeit via-call-in & pay via invoice & PayPal, was delivered from the Atlanta location. I even bought a closure alone from there for a loved one who is about to get a weave for the first time. The quality AND prices are like NO OTHER! My cousin, who lives in Atlanta, referred me to THW when she had them make her lacefront wig for her August 2015 wedding at the Atlanta store. She felt that my now-former NYC Hair supplier was too expensive ($120 more, to be exact but same quality). Said former hair extensions parlor of mine ceased selling Indian straight hair extension wefts. I sure didn't mind paying less for the same great quality! I've been a THW fan since & I promote them in person, via text & my social media accounts.

The hair quality doesn't match the pricing. I was very disappointed with the end product.read more

The inside of the store is BIG and I had no idea of where to look. I went to the front and asked for help and the cashier told me exactly where to go to find it and her recommended aisle was accurate. I think it was 8 or 9. After finding exactly what I needed, I got in line and was able to find a bamboo brush for laying edges. The cashier checked me out and told me about the free rewards program, so I signed up. The service was great and it was a lot of things to choose from, such as costume jewelry, hair products, braiding hair and cute accessories. I hadn't been in the store in over 7 years, and this experience made me want to come back the next time I need something.

She said we would have to custom order it to make it into my hair color. I would have to spend about $750 on a wig before being able to see one in my color. I also knew they carried black wigs because the lady next to me were being shown them. For the lady next to me, her hairdresser was asking questions to her, making her feel comfortable and making sure everything she tried on was ok, while mine did the opposite. I was there for less than 10 minutes and they told me to pay $25 for the consultation fee that they never even specified to me. This is the first time I've been to a wig shop. I was so nervous and my nerves have gotten even worse while I was there. They even told me that they do not take any measurements either. They were all way out of my price range. I am practically in tears right now. I will not stop into this wig shop ever again. Once I step into stores I wonder if I will be treated like all the other customers because of how short and young looking I look. I'm in my 40s. Now I know I will not be treated the same. I'm never coming here again. I did notice a trend when I walked in there. The older ladies who were shopping around and having wigs put on them were treated much more nicely than someone like me.
