so after a mildly traumatic slice and dice and cauterize the thing is gone and the stiches are out…read moreafter and a week of bacitracin and bandages and keeping it covered 23 hours a day and the whole hole thing seemed to have mended up pretty well except for occasional itchings. so I got another bit of ointment to apply under sterile dressings for a long week while everything finished... rumor has it that if I stopped poking at it and just left it be it would have healed up long before. probably going to be a little while before the skin flattens out completely but that odd little punching bag looking thing is gone and it was a fairly common sort of thing with a long name that is generally accepted as non-lethal so I guess it's yea for me and thank you Dr Wettreich and all the kind help in the practice :-) I am very pleased with my results and totally recommend coming here if you need to have your head examined.

Mammograms are not fun, but this was the most uncomfortable one I have had and I have been having them for 20 years.

I was scheduled to see Dr. Adams however, I was informed, on arrival to the office, he had been…read morecalled to the hospital for an emergency. I do understand these kinds of circumstances however, no one ever tried to call or reach out to me before I arrived at the appointment. I had an option to do my screening with the NP Leah Alfino and reschedule with Dr. Adams or reschedule my surgery consult and do the screening then. I opted to do the screening first. I made it clear to the front desk that it was only a screening appt. and I would reschedule for another appointment. I was billed for a moderate visit so it was not covered as a screening. When I called the office they told me I should have stopped any questioning of anything else and said, " I am only here for my screening!". This sounds very rude to me! I was baited into a question/ answer session to be able to say she talked to me about other issues! How would a patient know to stop the questioning to stop billing? They checked directly with the NP and she stood firm on her billing! I am an RN an I have never heard of such a thing! They would not adjust the code so I paid the bill, notified Medicare and I will NEVER EVER return!! Dr. Adams just lost not only a patient but a surgical patient, as well! They lost an enormous amount of money and credibility with me!

I've been seeing Dr Arigo for years (she's an amazing Dr who really cares about her patients) but because of my long labor I ended up delivering (c section) with Dr Hinkel. I was a little nervous bc I was high risk and I just felt comfortable with Dr Arigo but both Hinkel and Arigo went above and beyond to make sure I was very well taken care of. Their entire team was amazing and I am so glad I had both doctors to care for me. I highly recommend these drs as well as others on their team. Our hospital stay was comfortable. The nursing team at Duke were wonderful.
