After we opened them we quickly consumed all the nuts because they were so good. We thought we'd save some for later, but it was not meant to be. My husband and I ordered a BLT and fries and unsweet tea that tasted freshly brewed. I enjoyed my BLT thoroughly as it had a nice amount of bacon with crispy lettuce, decent tomatoes and mayonnaise on "thick bread" aka Texas Toast. My favorite was the french fries and ranch dressing "McCurtain County Gravy!" There is also a gift shop inside and small grocery area with a large selection of beer. I would also add that the kitchen is clean. Very clean! We enjoy going to the the little mom and pop places that are off the beaten path and North Pole Store is no exception. I understand that they also make fresh donuts in the morning with homeade glaze. I may need to return for those and a fresh cup of coffee.

They have a great selection of sparkly things for the ladies, cologne and patches for men, and even some toys for kids... however it is absolutely wild that when you spend $70 on full priced t-shirts that they don't honor the sign posted all over their shop. While it's generally inconsequential to waste time on stuff like this, it comes down to the principle because there are so many other great retailers in town. The bearded bro at the register seemed pretty inconvenienced by their customers, no one was greeted, he hardly looked up from tagging bracelets behind the register to check us out. After I paid and asked about the free koozie, he informed me that it's "adult shirts only" - which the sign does not say. I asked him if they planned to change their signs or honor the posting and he couldn't be bothered beyond a "thanks ma'am". I asked again since he did not answer the prompt and fell on deaf ears. Maybe I'm the only one to speak up? Maybe he's dissociated from that question entirely? Maybe he's secretively hard of hearing? IDK, but I wish I spent my money elsewhere.
