Even when it's crazy busy ive never had to wait long to put in an order or pay. The coffee is great and cheap and so are the pastries (the empanadilla de manzana is a personal favorite). If you're here for breakfast, I highly recommend the banana-espresso bread. I'm very much blessed to have this place to close to my apartment!!! It's amazing.

I think there were only around 12 chairs in the place. I went in at 2 on a Saturday and it was fairly busy. Luckily I was by myself and there was one barstool open. What I ordered: they had a new lunch option- citrus quinoa w bbq tofu. It was cooked to perfection, the tofu wasn't swimming in bbq, but still tasted like it, and the portion was filling. The only downside was the price. I understand it costs more to make everything animal-free, but 14€ is a little pricey for what I got. This isn't an everyday place because of the prices, but if you are craving some high quality vegan food, definitely check this place out!

(My American stomach still craves dinner at 7-8ish.) There was only one other table in the place. The restaurant was rather quiet, even with the music playing. What I ordered: I got the Vietnamese plum rolls. They were topped with bean sprouts and red pepper and came with a spicy asian sauce and a small portion of white rice. The flavor of the rolls was delicious! It didn't taste too fruity. It was more of a savory dish. My only complaint is the rice was still a little hard, but it was bearable. This dish was one of the more expensive ones, but it was worth it!

Owner was really friendly. We were looking for a place near our hotel and found this place on Yelp…read moredown the street. They have a menu of raciones (entrees or full portions) outside the restaurant. We decide to dine there even though the place was empty. Soon found out there was a 30th birthday celebration party going on as people came in shortly after to prep for it and enjoy themselves with drinks. Food. We got the Spinach Salad with Bacon, Dried Fruits & Nuts. It was simple, but tasty. No dressing, but the owner supplied us with a bottle of olive oil, vinegar and salt. Bacon was salty, so no need for salt. It was good. For the other entree, we got Salmon with Potatoes. Turns out it was french fries. Gosh, the Spaniards really like fries and potato chips (been serve that a few times on top of or other than olives). Wasn't feeling coffee (espresso) after the meal, so didn't get to try it. How do the Spaniards sleep drinking espressos all the time after dinner especially when dinner for them is at 10pm? Boggles my mind. Anyways, the food was delicious. Very much like home cooking. Service. Service was pretty good. We walked in unsure if they were open as the place was empty and tables put aside. Asked for a table for two, only to find out the restaurant owner doesn't speak English and we spoke pretty much next to nada Spanish. We managed and sat inside as it was cold outside. They have three outdoor tables & seats. The owner seemed asked the cook to be our server cuz he spoke some English. We managed again and thereafter was fine. Both the owner & server/cook were courteous and friendly. Asked what we wanted to drink and brought out bread (decent) and olives. The olives were very green (Hulk & Shrek looking colors), but tasted not bad. The bill. We were pleasantly surprised by the check. It was only 13.5€. One salad, one fish dish, one beer, one bottled water (they always serve bottled water at the restaurants in Spain when you asked for water)...all that for 13.5€? Wow! We tipped super duper generously cuz service was good, food was good and it was so inexpensive. The cheapest meal we ate on the entire trip (excluding on the go meals). So, if you're in the area, don't hesitate to check them out!

The Food The menu focuses on Italian classics with a handful Spanish touches. We started with the steak tartare over focaccia, which was the clear standout.
