They had just opened and I walked in to peer at their selections. Horchata! Sold. And then Turron. Ice cream selected for 2.70. The Horchata featured chufa's distinct flavor quite well. The Turron had the ground almond taste that I'm accustomed to. I was pleased with both flavors, the density, and their lasting impression on my palate.

There were small coconut grains within the tea, which was a pleasant surprise and added even more coconut flavor to the drink. My fiancé picked up a bottle of the "Too Hot" (orange, lemon, lime, curcuma, H2O alkaline, cayenne) pressed juice and I got a bottle of the "Rise and Shine" (grapefruit, apple, carrot) pressed juice. Both juices were both delicious and unique. Definitely unlike the mixtures I've had in California. The interior of Fit Food was super cute, cozy, and quaint. I think they also sell acai bowls and the such here. If you have the money to splurge and want something refreshing, light, and healthy to kick off your day or after a work out, I'd definitely recommend Fit Food.
