The teachers are so so loving and caring, they spend time with him as their own. As working parents, it is so important to find something we can trust and Bumo goes above and beyond. They send regular updates on the Procare app that helps us understand what our son ate, how much and when. Even beautiful pictures of him playing around with his friends and teachers which we love to see! They have stimulating and educational activities, great set of kids and parents creating a wonderful community, and an incredible setup. We love Bumo! Our son started when I returned to work after maternity leave. From day one, Joan and the team have been incredibly warm and attentive, making us the first time parents and our little one feel cared for and secure. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, and there is a wide variety of stimulating activities tailored to our child's developmental stage. We especially appreciate the daily updates, photos, and constant communication. Our baby has eczema and nut allergies, the teachers always keep us informed and help us navigate the best care option even when we're apart. Our baby has shown so much growth in social skills and development, and it's clear that the teachers truly love what they do. They go above and beyond to create a nurturing and engaging environment and we are very thankful for them. My son has been going to BUMO for almost 10 months now and we absolutely love it. The teachers are very loving, patient and they really care about the children and their growth- which is what we appreciate the most. They always communicate through the daycare app (nice getting frequent updates about his day!) and are transparent about everything. He has learned so much there- from singing, dancing, to art, performing at special events and celebrations. We cannot thank the teachers and staff enough for their care of our son. As for the daycare, it's very clean and the co-working space is amazing. I am often juggling work calls and meetings in the morning and it's quite nice to have that convenience (co-working space) at your finger tip. Lastly, the outside playground area is quite nice for being located inside a mall. It's enough space for the littles but may be a little tight for the bigger kids. A big fan of Bumo for last minute child care. Their staff is caring and nurturing. The space is very clean and they have hot food options. The program is a bit pricy for full time care but it is very convenient and great as a last minute option. It's also inside a mall so parking is easy and I like the option of running other errands when I'm there. Bumo sends regular updates about my child via an app. I've been sending my little one there since he was 18 months old and fully trust them to take care of his needs. I can't speak to the work/care program they offer since I don't partake but it seems like a great option for wfh mothers. read more

Amazing place- just what we needed! Accredited place run by professional staff and enrichment activities is way better than home nanny in my opinion. I don't mention specific staff members names because all of them are amazing. In the first day they even assigned one teacher to each child to help the children acclimate. We receive daily photos and updates to our phone showing the activities our child is experiencing which is very nice. You can get daily healthy meals for little extra, and free snacks. The place is beautifully designed. Very high end clean design it's just fun to step in there. I bought a book about high end toys and furnitures for children, and was impressed to find many of the items from the book in Bumo. Highly recommended !! read more

A true lifesaver. This is just what I needed to get my sh*t done during the day. At home, it's been almost impossible to WFH with the toddlers but it's almost been two weeks since my son and daughter and I have been going to Bumowork and I almost can't believe how much work i'm able to get done. Really happy that I can focus on work for a solid few hours with NO DISTRACTIONS knowing that my kids are next door learning and playing with the best teachers ever. Plus, they have the cutest outdoor play area to run around and get their wiggles out so I don't have to worry about my kids being cooped up inside. The staff is SO KIND and super professional. My fav part is that they send you cute updates on how your LO is doing whether or whether not you're at the space working. So I can step away to grab lunch, shop a little and come back knowing what my son's been up to and learning. So so happy to be here and highly recommend if you're a working parent who is able to work remote or have a flex schedule. P.S. MAMAS - super random but they also stock up the kitchen with my fav multi vitamins from perelel - super chic clean brand i personally love and pleasantly surprised to see them here. read more

The drop in childcare arrangement provided by Bumo is great and served our family very well. Bumo has great staff who show care, respect, and compassion about parents and kids. I am giving 3 stars because of our negative experience towards the end and leaving this comment for other parents who rely on their drop in arrangement just so they know. My daughter had a great time during her weekly stays at Bumo but in the last two sessions she had a tough time and I was asked to pick her up. I was surprised by how caregivers reacted to my daughter's change of mood because I thought as professionals, they should know that it is perfectly normal for toddlers to go through new phases of separation anxiety or just having bad days. They appeared alarmed and asked me if something has changed at home which was not the case. In my follow up conversation they kept giving me the sense that something is abnormal which again I was surprised given that they are professional caregivers. My general sense was that they did GREAT as far as my daughter had a good time there and did not creat any problem for them but they were not welcoming during her rough days. I decided to stop taking her to Bumo but they did not agree to refund my bundle which is infurtunate too. read more

My son started his preschool at Bümo on July 6th 2021, from that day on, he enjoyed his school life so much! Bümo has the best teachers and nicest staffs, my son had some speech delay issues in the beginning, they gave him so much care, attention and love, and helped him so patiently! Right now my son has made great progress with his speech, he talked about his school days and his friends at school every day, every time when I asked him "do you like your school?" or "did you have a fun time at school today?", the answer is always "Yes!" with a big smile ! Bümo has the most beautiful environment for children to play, to study, and also for parents to work here! We all believe that "work hard, parent hard". When my wife and I were looking for a daycare center to send our then ~12 month old daughter, we came across Bumo and a bunch of other places around west LA. We toured 4-5 different places and Bumo was the clear winner by a mile. It's a brand new facility located at the century city mall that offers childcare and coworking in one connected space. The quality of the facility is the first thing you notice. It's extremely clean and modern, like a page out of a magazine. But what sets Bumo apart is the group of teachers and staff they have assembled. They are caring, friendly and really vested in helping your child have the best experience possible. They also send 10+ updates throughout the day updating the parents on how they've been eating, how they've been playing with other children, etc. Just today, we probably got more than 15 photos of our daughter so we are always at ease knowing our kid is in good hands and having fun. Just in the short 2 months my daughter has been going to Bumo, she's developed so much in terms of speech, movements and social skills. Really thankful for their thoughtful curriculum. The most telling sign that Bumo has been so great for my daughter is that as soon as she sees her lunch box and backpack in the morning, she grabs it and runs to the door urging us to take her to Bumo. We couldn't be happier and can't recommend Bumo enough to anyone who's thinking about sending their child to daycare. read more

I absolutely love Bumo! There are so many things I love about this place, I don't even know where to start. As a working mom who works 7 days, Bumo is Godsend. It's a brilliant concept of being able to conveniently book a time on their website, where I can bring my son in anytime and be able to work just down the hall from his classrooms. I genuinely cannot say enough great things about Bumo! My now 2 year old has been at Bumo for 8 months now. Their on-demand care is extremely convenient for me especially when I need care in a pinch! We started our daughter Cassandra at Bumo at one and a half, in their "bumo babies" group and always had a good experience with it. They keep class sized at a good size, making sure each child gets the right amount of attention and space, but of course this means you'll need to book your spots in advance. Now that Cassie is two and a half, and in "bumo buddies", she still loved going there. They keep her busy with a lot of variety, and send us regular updates about what they are doing, often with pictures through the Procare app. That same app makes check-in/check-out easy and quick, so I'm never paying for parking since I'm always under the minimum time. This is my only child and only daycare so I can't compare it to other services, but the baby approves which is notable because he doesn't impress easily and has incredibly high standards. When I ask him if he likes it, he says "yah". Do you like the caretakers, "yah". Do you like the friends there? "Yah". What's your name? "Yah". They are open on Saturday! Booking is so easy and you can book last minute online, or book days in advance. As far as security in Century City, as a neurotic mom myself, I definitely recommend Bumo to other moms who worry about their children constantly but need child care. This Bumo location is our go to backup care option for our toddler. She attends another daycare full time, but Bumo has filled in the gaps for when we need care when her regular daycare is not open. The facility is clean and modern and the staffs are also very friendly. We particularly like that it has options for Sunday care and we can do half day when we need it. The availability of little spoon for meals is an added bonus and convenience we like so we don't have to worry about packing her meals. The app is also great for getting updates and messaging the teachers real time. The location of being in the mall is also very convenient though the mall parking on Sunday afternoon can be a bit of a hassle. read more

We use Bumo for occasional/backup daycare and love it! It's pricey but that's to be expected for ad-hoc care and is one of the only options I've found on the west side. I've used BumoWork twice so far. In both cases, I've needed childcare in a pinch and it's pulled through for me! My son is 1 year old and I send him with his bottles and snacks and they take care of everything else. The nicest part is that you get lots of pictures and updates. I know if anything happens, they'll call or text. The place is gorgeous and clean. The first time when I picked him up, he was out cold and kept sleeping through the hand off, so I think he feels very comfortable there. All the regular kids seem happy and cared for. I would highly recommend Bumowork to everyone. This is everything I want in a childcare center for my little girl. My 6 year old daughter went to a different child care center and the experience I'm having with my younger daughter (4) is far and away better. Firstly, my daughter loves her teacher and comes home with so many stories about her day. The best part is, Bumo keeps the parents involved through an app with pictures, videos and messages. Not only do I get those pictures (memories) but I can also use that to converse with her. My daughter has excelled with their curriculum and it's great to see her learn (planets, seasons, reading and writing) through her play/art (coloring, building, writing). We joined Bumowork as our first daycare for our baby. It was a great solution as we navigated the ever changing working from home or working from office landscape during Covid. The flexibility was key. I was so nervous to start a daycare program with our baby, but I'm glad we chose Bumo, because they were amazing at supporting us and my kid loves it there! I have never written a review before but I strongly believe people should really know about this daycare. We were just visiting for a few months and wanted something simple for our 2 year old daughter. However the process was just so complicated, soooo many contracts and we had to see a physician (at the end they told us just sent photos of the vaccine records). i understand they literally just opened and very few kids were there, should have known better. The place is beautifully designed, great place if you need a co-working space.. but honestly when i went to most daycare they provided that kind of space with much less value, just a little less beautiful. Very disappointed with a lot of things for such an expensive daycare. We wouldn't mind paying if we thought it was worth it. So so overpriced. 1. I was particularly annoyed when I picked up my daughter the FIRST DAY and saw a kid with runny nose, even the caretaker mentioned that he needed a tissue ( I think she saw me staring at the boy) . Guess what... the next day my daughter had a runny nose. What are the chances right? That kid was the first kid with a runny nose I have seen that close with my daughter. Just very annoyed with their appearance of being super professional but at the end neglected the health of other kids. 2. We couldn't "try out" the daycare which I thought was really strange, been to other daycares and they gladly let us tried. So we booked a tour. Upon the tour we were shown a small outdoor space outside of the class and the tour guide mentioned that during the outdoor session we should "IMAGINE" that the space will be filled with fun props this and that. Took my daughter there twice and didn't see anything besides like 1 sensory table and a vespa. So sad for her. So disappointed with Bumo. No wonder they would NOT let kids try out, noone would send their kids there!! 3. We actually enrolled our daughter at another daycare in santa monica (while waiting for her enrollment at Bumo that I mentioned was soo complicated) and wow she has SO MUCH FUN at the other daycare, barely ever cry even her first time we dropped her there she was so into all the activities provided, the caretakers sent me so many photos of her doing activities to ensure we as parents know that they are well taken care of. The outdoor space was soo amazing- At Bumo, they sent like 2 photos. How we dropped our daughter was really strange, it was like a long hallway and she wouldn't stopped crying. She literally would wake up in the morning and said "mama no school ok?" this never happened at the other daycare.And there were like 2/3 kids only, which was nice because she got 1 on 1 interactions with the caretakers but I personally would rather she play with kids her age. We will definitely put our daughter in the santa monica daycare next time we're in LA again- eventhough it is a bit out of our way but she has fun, the value is super reasonable and just better services. 4. We decided to come back home earlier due to family emergency, and we only went there ONCE and they decided to only refunded our money 50%, and while we are planning our trips back we asked if it would be okay to still drop her off the week after even though we cancelled and Christine at that time mentioned "ofcourse" which I thought was very fair. that thursday i was supposed to dropped my daughter off, she had a runny nose (told you the story) so we didn't drop her off but the week after we dropped her off Christine was so "surprised" that we came back (which i already told her to plan the trip back we would need more time so not sure why was she so "surprised") told her that out of the 2 times a week that we enrolled already- her I would need to drop her off the last time on the Thursday and since we paid 50% already I thought it would be okay since we were only there ONCE. She texted me and told me that its FULL. Wow really??? I seriously have only seen like 5 kids there. Such a lame excuse. But Im kind of glad because my daughter really hated going there. Honestly, Take your money and go somewhere else. SOOO many reputable and fun daycares around the areas. the only good points are only well designed space and in century city. Other than that its just a waste of your money and your kid's time. Go somewhere else. read more
