My room was very clean and spacious. It took me a while to find the business center; they had two computers with a printer, but i couldn't get online.
The grounds and the locale were particularly impressive, reflective of a very affluent "Kentucky" neighborhood: old trees, endless manicured lawns, a golf course nearby.
Considering the political reputation of KY, and the notoriety of a neighboring Southern Baptist Seminary, I was somewhat hesitant about excessive rules or a dominant religiously evangelistic culture, but I thought this location had a good balance, lots of opportunties for spiritual reflection and practice, but not an oppressive expectation of uniformity.
Finally, we had breakfast at the school cafeteria, and while it was quiet and typical of a buffet/cafeteria, the grits, casserole, and and eggs and ham were quite adequate. The fruit seemed sort of generic... I would have preferred peaches, pears, etc., that I assume would be plentiful in the autumn, in the south!
