This review is just from visiting and not from a purchase or attempted purchase…read more I visited the kennel with a friend who was here on business. I played with the puppies. They were in an outdoor pen. I don't know how old they are. They were happy and chilled out quickly after a regular puppy love attack of kisses and pawing for pets. The property and the other dogs that I saw all seem very well cared for and maintained well. I met with the owner and spoke with her for awhile. She's been in this business for over 30 years and is passionate about what she does. The kennel is available by appointment only. They will house your dog for you while you're away from home and care for it as well as offer breeding services for German Shepherds. If you want to adopt a puppy or a retired dog, they will allow the dogs to be adopted by approved homes only. All puppies come with a Canadian Kennel Club Registration, vet check, tattoo, first vaccinations and deworming, 6 weeks pet insurance, lifetime breeder support, and a lifetime health guarantee. International shipping is available.

This breeder is in it only for money, PERIOD! I got a pup from her a few yrs ago and she doesn't…read morenot socialize them at all. The adults are all in kennels barking constantly and the pups are kept in a building like a barn, alone with their litter mates. I know a trainer who has had to work with at least 5-6 of her dogs due to fear and aggression. Our dog isn't aggressive but really fearful of things. Sandy comes across as caring when you show up to buy a dog, but in reality, she only cares about the money. I could tell you about another pup from there who was only 4-5 months when the owners tried to get training to help her but no one could even get close, she was so aggressive. Sandy likes to blame that on the new owners ut she knows its her shameless breeding practices that cause this. I never met my dogs mother, she wouldn't show her to me, hmm, I wonder why. DO NOT BUY A PUP FROM SANDY ANDERSON AT WOODSIDE GERMAN SHEPHERDS, let her stick to her shows with her show dogs. Make her stop breeding for sales of pups.

In a nutshell their "human" customer service skills are terrible. That said, their dog skills may…read morebe excellent - but at the end of the day a human is forking over the $$, so I think we humans count in some minuscule way. After doing a month of research on dog boarding facilities, I settled upon TNT in Abbotsford. That's an hour driving time with traffic but I want the best for my new puppy. The first phone inquiry I made to TNT was polite but harried. Okay, no problem they're busy, I understand. Btw, I spent $320 including taxes for 7 days of boarding plus extra services which included 2 walks a day etc. Not cheap. But that's okay I want the best for my pup. Two days after my puppy was boarded I made a call to check on my puppy to see how she's adapting. The lady on the other end said great but she seemed slightly irritated I was taking up her time and then she rushed me off the phone. Okay..... The second and last time I called was at 10am, (which is their office time), the day before pick up. I asked how my puppy was getting on and wanted to make arrangements for pick up. She was rude and rushed me off the phone once again with a promise to call me back but didn't call back until I called again at 6pm - now I was irritated. I mean, I was calling during office hours which are stated on their website between 8:00am-11am. I received a call at 6pm from someone else to whom I explained my frustration about this rude employee. She said they're busy and that the other employee at the kennel thought I was taking up too much of her time over the phone. What? A less than five minute phone call asking for an update? That's absurd. If that's what 300 bucks gets you... Upon arrival for pick up she told me my puppy received a little extra attention in the office because, well, she's a puppy. I'm grateful for their care of my pooch. If my dog had a great time there, then excellent but I wasn't aware of any of her activities other than the two 10 minute walks/day and the office time upon the arrival for pick up. Was she playing with the other dogs, did she get other socialization time? I don't know because they wouldn't tell me of her activities. Hopefully, she wasn't in a cage for 8 hours a day. I will never know. And that's what I'm not impressed with. The lack of communication skills - with humans - and the way my 2 phone calls were handled. Like I said on my way out, socialization of dogs is important but the socialization of humans is essential. Will not be back.

Just had to board my one year old greyhound for the first time. His breeder recommended TNT first…read moreso off Ripley went. He seemed to enjoy his stay. I opted for the meadow walks which are an additional charge. The location is very scenic and they seemed anxious to make sure Rip had a good stay. He had his dog bed from home, his blanket and a bunch of toys....and they fed him his usual food (which I supplied). I'd feel confident taking him back to TNT again. Nice to have a boarding kennel I can feel good about.
