Since we paid for the wedding ourselves, it was great that he had a very reasonable package. We had a Hollywood themed wedding, so the cinematic shots he took were great. The contract stated that we would receive our video in 8 to 12 weeks but Steve had it completed in a week (SWEET!). Buller Media is one of the worst businesses I've ever worked with. First of all, the videographer they sent for my wedding left his tools at my house pre-wedding. So, luckily, my photographer grabbed them for him. Then, he was flirting with girls at my wedding, both while he was working as well as afterward. I wouldn't be that upset about that if I didn't have to write the next lines... When I received my wedding video, the quality was all messed up. The DVD skipped, and then would freeze. How does this company send me 5 copies of a DVD that thy didn't check? Or, did they check it, saw that it was bad, but sent it anyway. Bottom line is, my wedding video is ruined. When I spoke to Steve, he said that it was a problem with the camera and there was nothing he could do. When I asked what reparations I would receive for this, I was told a full refund. Okay, not enough. First of all, how about a refund for the meal, parking and tip I gave the photographer? How about something else for ruining my memory that can never be recreated? When I asked, all Steve said was "what do you want from me? I'm a small business owner. ". He gave me no empathy, even though it was his employee's fault...100%. I would not recommend working with Buller Media not only because they ruined my video, but because of the lack of customer service. read more

What an amazing experience with Buller Media throughout the contract and payment coordination with Steve and the planning and actual wedding day with Jace!!! I was worried about the videographer and photographer (by others) not capturing the content we wanted and they absolutely blew our minds! The videogapher worked so well with the photographer and made it so enjoyable. It felt like a fun photo shoot for us! Jace took the time to explain how the audio and video would work and asked what our priorities were for the video - just great detailed coordination. As we reflect, we are truly blessed with the professionalism, quick email and text responses, and just an positive attitude Steve and Jace have had. When Jace saw us a little stressed that day, he'd crack a joke or do anything to make us laugh and enjoy the moment. I hands down recommend Buller Media (request Jace!!!) for their professionalism, flexibility, and reliability. I felt like this was the tenth time working with them, not the first. I will be using them for all of my future video contracts and two different guests (marrying next year) asked for Buller's contact information. Our package included: isolated mics on the groom and celebrant, one isolated mic on ceremony music band, one stand still camera focused on couple, one moving camera controlled by Jace, selecting song for wedding video(s), and one amazing experience for our big day! read more

Working with Steve and his team has been nothing short of amazing. From the moment my wife and I brought them on board to capture the moments for our wedding, Steve was always prompt in replying to emails and calls. As the date was getting closer, we got him in touch with our wedding coordinator, and they worked with her as if they were talking to us. The day of the wedding, our videographer (Francis) did an excellent job. He was in the right places at the right time, kept an eye out for the details we couldn't see, but at the same time blended in with everyone. Not once did we get the feeling that he was too close, captured too much (although I'm not sure if that's possible for such a big day), or in any way negatively affected our special day. After the wedding, Steve was very patient with us. Our wedding was mid-September, and we're now just finalizing our videos. That's of absolutely no fault to Steve and his team, that time is all on us. We often put off the tasks we had to do for another day, and days became weeks. The pricing is reasonable for the amount of products you get. Francis was our day-of videographer, and he worked incredibly well with our photographer, making sure to get all the shots he needed. Many of my family commented the didn't even feel he was there, which is exactly what you want in a videographer. Having funded our entire wedding ourselves, I wasn't completely sold on having a videographer for our wedding. My wife on the other hand really wanted the wedding captured on video. Having lost her brother a few years ago, she saw the benefit in making the investment in the video and being able to see everyone who shared in our celebration. After having researched many companies, we decided to go with Chicago Videography (Steve Buller). We met in person a couple of times. He provided samples of his companies work. He answered all of our questions on a timely manner. Work quality was excellent and price for his service was reasonble. Payment schedule was flexible and allowed for us to fit in our budget. At the end of the day, we selected Steve because we got along very well. He didn't give us a pushy sales pitch and he was very honest. He showed confidence in his ability to deliver a quality product. Through out the wedding planning process we kept Steve informed of the details for our big day. He showed up extra early to Church and the Reception location. Set up and got along with all our other vendors. He worked so efficiently, we hardly even noticed he was there for the event. We recently received our our blue ray discs. I must say that we are more than pleased! All of the video and audio was captured and edited cleanly. The disc covers, printing, and menus on the disc are professionally displayed like a commercially sold disc. Wedding day came and went for us very quicky. Yes, we have our memories and pictures. However, I must say that I am thankful my wife kept pushing for the video because there is nothing like witnessing the live version. I am not sure how many cameras were used, but from the video you would think he had a five man crew. He captured all the main events: ceremony, wedding picture shoot prior to the reception, and reception. Within the reception, he captured cocktail hour, introductions, first dance, cutting of the cake, dollar dance, and everything else. He also included the dance highlight and summary of the entire day. We could not be more pleased! I know picking your vendors can be extremely stressfull. It's re-assuring to know you are dealing with profesionals to elliminate some of the stress. read more
