This site sits portside with great view and the funicular right next to it. A bit touristy with live saxophone player and super crowded but well worth it if you're in the neighborhood. Tried the grilled salmon which was cooked to perfection. Not over or undercooked. Tried the Chilean salad Which consists of cut up onions, tomatoes and herbs. Nice and refreshing. Had to also have the pisco sour, which was strong and super sweet. Overall, def one of the winners in this area for great seafood.

I highly recommend age for good delightful service views of Puerto Valparaíso. The restaurant overlooks the Pacific Ocean, while not dirt cheap, anyone who is a foodie, or anyone who brunches will find the ambiance and the quality phenomenal. You have to come here if you are in Valparaiso! Puerto Blanco has opened recently and is one of the…read morefirst cafes with specialty coffee in the area. They are located in a loft-turned-cafe with their design based on the hipster coffee culture from the states and I dig it! They import their coffee from all over Africa and Central America. Their barista knows what he is doing and makes a perfect espresso (pretty easy with these quality beans). For the tea lovers out there, don't worry they also have a large variety organic leaf teas! A must try are their pastries - their carrot cake and cheesecake are my favorites! The carrot cake is moist, the cheesecake is creamy and they are all made in house with quality ingredients! Btw not only do they have regular cheesecake, but they also have Nutella cheescake!! You can't miss their brunch during the weekends! It includes tea or coffee, yogurt and granola, natural fruit juice, waffles with syrup or manjar (yum!) or if you prefer the savory breakfast you can get a muffin and scrambled eggs with toast all for $4.800! Puerto Blanco is dedicated to serving organic and all natural ingredients and products. They have just started making their own bread as well! They also make sure to have veggie and vegan options at all times! Everything is affordable and delicious - bueno, barato y bonito! PS I realize I ended all of my sentences with exclamation points but I'm drinking coffee and too excited about this new cafe to keep cool #sorryimnotsorry
