After calling and speaking with (i guess his name is Rod?) on the phone, I just had to come take a…read morelook at Yelp and see what kind of poor reviews this guy had. Literally none of it surprised me. I'm sure in real life he is very good at sprinkler repair. And, I'm also sure he might be a nice person. I experienced neither of those things. Recently I had a large underground leak spring up around my front porch near my main residential line, possibly could have been sprinkler related but was not sure; either way it was concerning, as it was flooding portions of my front yard. So finding this business on the app I decided to give him a call - I explained the problem, asked if he could tell what it might be, and maybe come over and take a look for a quick quote. His response? Good ol' fashion anger. He got super argumentative. That the leak could be anything, that he wouldn't be able to come out for a few days, and even if he could it wouldn't be cheap...that he's been doing this for decades and he just knows. Overall real combative and said whatever it was that I needed, that he couldn't help. Like wow. Just imagine everyone you've ever met that was in so dire need of a yoga class or a hug that you could just hear it in their voice- that was Rod. In just a short conversation on the phone, that was him. After going back-and-forth with him (I tried to hang up, he wanted to keep going) for a couple minutes we bid each other farewell and I found another great business (Valley Roots) that was able to quickly come out and help with fair prices and, even better, they were awesome dudes. It's amazing how a decent attitude can be good for business. I do not recommend the sprinkler doctor, as the only thing I think he would be able to cure you of is having a pleasant day. Maybe he should focus his next few decades of work on some positivity.

Went on Yelp to find someone to move some sprinkler pipes as we are getting a pool put in. I texted…read moretwo people, but didn't get a response. I then messaged Doug on the Yelp platform and he responded within an hour. Ironically, right after he responded, one of the two I had text referred me to Doug. Yesterday he came out, gave me an estimate and today completed the work. The pool cut off a water pipe to my flower bed so Doug installed an automatic watering system, programmed it, showed me how to download and use the app to control it. He then was supposed to reroute two lines, but found three and set it up so that I have two drip lines and can add two more. He also showed me how they all functioned. I love giving business to hard working small business owners and Doug was incredible. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!!

We found this landscaping crew on Yelp and were very pleased with Alfredo Miguel Maintenance's…read morecrew. Alfredo responded to my request for a quote quickly and he and his brother came to our house to look over the project. We have a small yard,so we had a hard time finding a landscaper to come out to give us a bid. Alfredo gave us a bid right then and there and also set up a date to start the work. An entire crew showed up on the day agreed upon. They had all the equipment and materials. They spent the entire day working, removing bushes, updating and rerouting our sprinklers and drip irrigation system. They brought in new plants, river rock, red humus and even built two garden boxes out of red wood. The crew was respectful of our property and our neighbors as well. We were pleasantly surprised when they chose to wrok until 8pm (on a very hot day) to complete the project. A few days later, I contacted Alfredo because our sprinkler clock was not working properly. He stopped by that day and replaced the clock. Now our new garden, plants and grass are being watered on schedule. We were pleased with the price, the work and the professionalism of this crew. We recommend them to anyone looking for landscape and maintenance work.

I am extremely grateful for the work that the guys from Alfredo Miguel Maintenance completed at my…read morehouse. When I sent the pictures of my brass pipes to some contractors, they simply stopped responding. In comparison, Alfredo's crew came out, took a look, and then completed the work two days later with no fuss, and no muss. I am thankful for their dedication to getting the work finished, and making sure to keep me updated from day to day about the completion status of the work. The crew installed a key valve, since my old brass pipes were connected directly to my main water line without a shut off valve, they cut out the old brass pipes that had corroded and sealed themselves on to the PVC pipe for the sprinklers, they replaced all of the valves with new anti-siphon valves, and made sure all of them were in excellent working condition. Importantly, they also took the time to install new covers so my pipes will be protected from the sun. My sprinklers were a mess, and I now feel like they are ready to last me for years.
