Even though we paid for day-of only, they met with us several times before the wedding over the phone and did a walk through. The Larz is an upscale wedding venue in DC and Alison helped us stay on a budget. The pricing they offered was the best we could find and they did a wonderful job! The Pearmund cellars winery was also a great place to set up because we were under a large willow tree that gave privacy and shade. The picnic set up itself was beautiful! I gave a few suggestions based on what I saw online and they really hit every mark. There were several cute little touches included like mini fans, bug spray and some water. My partner was so surprised and it felt so special. I only wish there was a fuller gallery on the website so you can see more detailed pictures/different angles. After scrolling through ARE's website, reading articles about Andrew's background, watching his inspiring videos and - most importantly, looking at photographs of his work, I just knew that he wouldn't be available or would be out of our price range. After all, it was clear that he was a giant in the industry. There was just no way! But I crossed my fingers and sent an inquiry anyway. I was gobsmacked to receive a positive response and to hear of his willingness to schedule an exploratory Zoom call with us to discuss our needs and wants. Things changed after our first meeting with Andrew. My fiancé and I had been lost in a thicket, but Andrew took our hands and led us to our destination. Bobby was very professional and organized, he even helped me with my timeline and made suggestions based on his experience. His questions were very detailed and as a result the day of the wedding went smoothly and was handled just as we had wanted. He definitely kept the dance floor going all night, he knew what to play to keep everyone dancing. After the last song, the crowd literally chanted ONE MORE SONG and Bobby was kind enough to oblige.
