Once there was a cleaning woman in the men's locker room that was doing more observation than cleaning. A second time there was a woman in the men's sauna. Today there was a woman sitting in the men's locker room of which management is of the opinion that this is acceptable and there is nothing they can do to keep people of the opposite sex from using a locker room that does not agree with their sex at birth. Management are a group of nice people but, they sure have this one wrong. I will be looking for a new facility that is more in line with my beliefs. I really like the facility and convenience to my home. But my Christian beliefs are not in line with this facility.

Likes: clean and spacious facility. Dislikes: equipment seems a bit outdated in some areas and could be replaced with newer gym equipment. I do know gyms have a budget to replace equipment since I came from a small gym before this and they made room in their budget for things like this. Like: swimming area bigger for family. Dislike: restrooms seem outdated and maybe need an update soon. I hope some of my likes and dislikes helps this facility. Overall, I thought it was a nice Y facility but it has room for improvement.

Despite the failing quality, items are rarely updated or replaced - FOR EXAMPLE- a gym in Pensacola updates their equipment regularly-,they just closed down to remodel THE ENTIRE PLACE- and their membership and attendance is nothing compared to Columbus and the cost of living and the cost of doing business is not significantly greater in Columbus ... so regardless of the excuse, the owners have it's insufficient they have the customers they just wanna take the money and run, but obviously they don't want to run at their own gyms.... Great facility (they'll open up the garage doors in the summer for a nice breeze), great equipment, and great environment. It's never very busy. People are respectful. Nice layout. Three squat racks, free weights up to 100 lbs., and lots of machines. Only issue I've ever had is that one of the stair masters doesn't work. It's hardly a complaint given that I have never had a problem with getting on the other one.
