This guy is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a technology dork but what I do know is that Staples wanted to charge me around $400 to upgrade my computer to Windows 7, and that was after taking 2 weeks to answer me if they could do it. My computer was slow and after I had already had done a system recovery I lost my office and could not even use necessary programs such as word, power point, excel etc. I am full time college student ant these are essential for me. When I went to look for a key to Staples I explained my situation and they sold me a key, but they never told me I would only use it on Windows 7, went back and they did not want to refund me because I had already opened the key!!!!!!!!!! And THEN I don't know what happened to my computer because I just could not turn it on again!!! But it was my lucky day when I ran into this guy that solved all my problems, and in less time and money than I thought!!! My computer is faster, upgraded to Windows 7, has Office 2010, a couple programs he added, and is soooooo much better!!!!! I will recommend him to all my friends and everyone who doesn't want to get ripped off by stores trying to sale with clueless technicians. My daughter came to me at around 4 to tell me that her computer wouldn't start. She is rough with her computer that she's had for 5 years. She doesn't want another one. And this has her school work on it. It was important that we got it repaired. I found a repair place that was right around the corner and called Building Dreams. Chris let me bring the computer right over to look at. I got back home and I think less than 30-45 minutes he called back to tell me it was just the charge cord that wasn't working. However he was able to shore up the cable so that it is working now. He also checked the inside and made sure nothing inside had been broken. It was all good. I came and picked it up. Chris is the man! My macbook pro had some problems and I didn't want to take it into the big businesses like Apple and such without applecare and get charged a whole lot, so I decided to check out some spots on Yelp and decided to check out his at-home/office. Pricing vary on repair type and such. I brought it in, he checked it out and gave me a prognostic on what the problem could be. Turns out I had to replace some hardware items on my computer and reboot the system to get her up and running again from a virus attack. Took about a week due to buying of parts and delivery of course. Overall great service, he always keeps you up to date as to where he is along his work progress as well as informing you if he encounters any issues on your device and possible ways (if there are various ways) to fix the item. He's flexible as to the price range for replacement parts, depending on what it may need to get it running at 100% and performance. About a week ago my computer just died. I knew best buy would charge me a good amount. So I went to Chris and he did a wonderful job. A different computer place told me my macbook was dead and would cost 500 dollars to repair. Rather than making stuff up and charging me up the ass, these guys told me the truth... all I needed was a new battery. Cost of parts was fair and labor was too.
