I am a psychiatric provider that refers to Valley. Psychiatrists have many years of experience…read more They offer several outpatient programs that are for a diverse population and for varying disorders.

I cannot speak for the other doctor who shared the suite with this doctor I encountered, but this…read morereview is for: Pawar Balwinder S MD I wish there was a negative star to pick. I feel as though having seen this cold, arrogant, condescending psychiatrist was a major setback to my recovery. The entire appointment was a waste of my time and my money. I'm seriously considering not paying the bill I'm sure to receive in the mail and just allowing it to go unpaid and impact my credit.... that's how badly I do NOT want to put a single PENNY in this man's pocket. He had no empathy towards a crisis I had just recently been through. I felt as though he did not do HIS homework and read my freaking chart/file for even a minute. His eye contact was lacking, and when our eyes did meet, I felt creeped out and uncomfortable. I was appalled at his lack of warmth, and lack of listening skills. I felt like some of my medications needed to be changed, which is his job to do, but he basically waived off my concerns with some flippant remark, not taking anything I had previously stated into consideration. What really set me off (internally, of course) was when he placed my prescriptions (the exact. same. ones. the hospital gave me) on the table between us... without even looking up from his folders.... and said, "Thank you. Goodbye." Its sad that he is so near the hospital, and that most people getting discharged are probably referred to him. I'm sure he gets A LOT of business from people like me who respected the referring hospital doctor enough to think that they would not send me to some unfeeling jerk. I didn't even research him before going to the appointment, which I own as a mistake on my part. I cannot believe that psychiatry is this guy's profession. I thought, well maybe he's having a bad day. You know, positive self-talk and all that, but when I told the front desk gal that no further appointments were needed, that I was never going to return, and telling her who my doctor was after she had asked, the looks on all the staff's faces told all-- This was not the first time they have heard this, and they were not surprised.
