From the moment I walked in the door (pre-covid) the environment was warm and welcoming. My son was only 10 months old, not walking but very loving. I have watched my son learn colors, numbers and letters. He learned to share. He has had fun with art projects and water play (during the summer). He talks non-stop and so curious now, they encouraged him talk and really communicate. Potty training was scary as a first time mom of a boy but they made it a flawless teamwork transition. He was fully potty trained by 2 1/2. My son loves playing with all the other kids and it truly feels like a community. He runs in to see his friends every day with a giant smile on his face. Lastly, there were days that I was feeling overwhelmed as a mom, I didn't know how to handle a behavior situation at home and I felt I could talk to them and really absorb their advice. Just that little advice or encouragement to me was priceless! Thank you Nana, Sheena and the rest of the Little Bee teachers my son is lucky to have had you in all of our lives and we look forward to coming back to visit for many years to come! Thank you for loving my son and our whole family! We love Little Bee Academy!

But from the moment we met Miss Aida, Miss Astrik, and Miss Alina we felt the positivity, joy, and the love they have for children. They are such a dedicated, energetic, and wholesome family, that you have no concerns when you drop off your children and have to go to work--you know your children are going to have fun, learn, and be well-taken care of, which allows you to focus on what other things you need to do. I also really liked Red Roof because it's a smaller group of kids rather than a larger school type setting, so I knew my kids would get the attention they need, build bonds with the family spanning over several years and that also the transition from being at home to pre-school would be easier. Also, they make organic food that's amazing and tasty. They provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks--you can rest assured your children will never go hungry. They also organize a few recitals during the year so the children show what they've learned--and of course these are the cutest and most adorable events. It also allows you to get to know the other families as well and interact with the teachers more. I was amazed one day when my toddler came home and was reciting each letter I pointed to correctly, and it wasn't because we had taught her at home. I was so happy to see that not only were my kids having fun, but also learning at the same time. There are so many great things about Red Roof I could keep writing--you will be lucky to have your kids go there, and you can be certain they will flourish.

My daughter was attending this childcare for about a month when I started noticing transient(s) sleeping in the empty lot next to the center. This center is not a secured place. Anyone can come in and out. No one is ever at the front desk. This incident happened on July 3rd. One morning when dropping off my daughter, I thought another parent had left their car running. When I bumped into the parent inside the center, I told her to be careful not to leave the car running because I had noticed a guy sleeping in the lot next to the center, and god forbid, anyone could jump in the car and take off with it. The parent mentioned that her husband works for the YMCA in Porter Ranch and that she was going to bring the issue of the transient(s) staying in the empty lot. I had already emailed the Director regarding my concern prior to the conversation with the parent. The reply I got back from the Director was, "I will keep an eye out". Later in the day I went to visit my daughter. I was putting on the booties when all of a sudden someone pulled open the door next to me. It was the Director of the center AND SHE WAS NOT HAPPY. The way she pulled that door open, I knew something was up. The way she spoke to me was unacceptable. Short Story conversation, she straight up told me NOT to be talking to other parents about my concerns. Her concern was the reputation of the center. My concern was the safety of my child. Like I said before, anyone can go in and out of this center. The Director also brought up to my attention that if I thought a Security Guard would be placed at the center, that would never happen. She also made it very clear that I could always take my child out of the program. Which I HAPPILY did. My Child did not return to this place the following week. I had a good experience with Ms. Barbie and Ms. Clarissa, other than that, I would NOT recommend this place unless changes are made to make sure our kids are SAFE.

They have separate rooms for different ages and I love that. The staff is always nice and helpful. He is getting potty trained at home and there too. They have lots of things scheduled for the little ones. The playground is safe and it's covered so even if it's hot they can still play outdoors. I love this place and highly recommend it.
