I reserved a truck for a move roughly 3 weeks before I needed it. The week of the move (3 days before moving date) I get a call from a guy here telling me they don't have a truck available. He tells me they overbooked the Nashville market by 75 trucks. WHAT??? How does this happen?? That's what I asked, but he really had no answer. I just blurted out "Well, what the hell do you expect me to do now". His reply was to call Penske. Really? Your company is so bad you're recommending a competitor? Turned out to be the ONLY good thing about this place - recommending Penske was perfect, as they had trucks and provided excellent customer service. I'll NEVER rent from Budget again! read more

The first thing the gentleman told me was "Speak English" how do you start a conversation like that? Then after I tell him I speak perfect English but my ethnicity is Egyptian he started mocking us, asked us if we were with the other customers who reassembled our appearance, racist much if you ask me! I thought 2020 wasn't supposed to carry the same southern disrespect! RENTER BEWARE! THEY WILL ADD FRAUDULENT CHARGES TO YOUR RENTAL My reservation charges were $86.84 and my credit card was charged $195.62! They added "extra driver" when there was always only one driver for my move from Franklin, TN to Louisville, KY... why in the world would there be 2 drivers for a less than 3 hour trip?!! Unfortunately my Citibank MasterCard sided with the merchant.... card is now cancelled and shredded after 15 years as a customer. I will NEVER rent from Budget ever again. read more

I reserved a truck online, got a confirmation via email. Get to the office, no one is there. It's literally a one room office and it's locked. Wait about 15 minutes past my pickup time and call Budgets customer service. After a very difficult conversation with someone who I had to have repeat his question several times (guessing somewhere out of the country), they call the owner. He tells them to tell me he doesn't have one. Meanwhile, I am looking at one. They made no attempt to ever contact me to let me know. Never again. I can't imagine this place will survive. read more

I had a good experience here. I arrived right before they opened at 9 am and there were a couple other people there. If you manage your expectations, you can have a decent experience here. The rental guy showed up and checked the overnight bin where truck keys had been left. There's a small fleet of trucks so it makes sense that they would want you to have a full tank and clean truck. Paperwork was quick, truck was filled and clean, and the gentleman even brought the truck to the front for us to pick it up! Be smart, get there early, and take care of your business. :) read more

Our plans changed and we showed up an hour early to get the truck. No one was there and no one answered the phone. After waiting an hour we decided to call customer service and cancel the order and are currently getting a truck from Penske. Don't even bother going here because NO ONE IS EVER THERE!!!! read more

I don't like going into a business and be assaulted by political cartoons all over the place and calling the president of the united states all sorts of terrible names. I wouldn't like it if it was about Obama or Trump. A good business will not have political opinions in the customer's faces when they approach the counter to pay. Apparently, showing up for work is optional here. I arrived 10 minutes before my reservation time, and no one was there. I called the location, which forwarded me to the main customer service line, and spoke with a man named Jesse. He coldly informed me that the office closed at noon, which was when my pickup time was scheduled. On top of that, I couldn't reschedule my pick up time for the next day, because that location was closed on Sunday. Basically, after speaking to several managers at that point, I have to drive to downtown Nashville location to pick up the truck. Normally, this would be fine, even for a major inconvenience...but Nashville just received record snowfall and the roads are dangerous to drive on. I have never dealt with customer service representatives that dealt with a situation like this.... They absolutely did not care about the situation they put me in and made NO offer to make it right.... Not even a discount! DO NOT pick up a truck from this location, or better yet, use U-haul or another company. This company has no value nor appreciates their customers. read more
