He has a difficult time transitioning to new tasks and Fragile X causes his speech to sound muffled and difficult to understand. Shannon was professional, efficient, and effective. She used a variety of methods to help him transition into each therapy session and he responded to her and cooperated without any bad behaviors. Also, his communication skills improved. He started to answer questions using complete sentences, used more than one to two word answers, and his speech was clearer.
