That is a wonderful facility that has highly experienced friendly people at all levels that speak English very well so you can understand them. over the past 25 years my wife and I have had many procedures done there and have always had good results. A few times my wife had to have surgery in a major well-known hospital in Minneapolis and the experience was not very good at all levels. We can't expect everything to be perfect however I highly recommend them. I don't understand some of the comments of the lower rated reviews, we probably don't know the full story. This hospital was quick to get my father in law a room and some pain relief. Initially the scans/testing were exceptionally fast though it did slow down markedly due to traumas that came in. My only critique is that after the tests were done the doctor never returned to discuss them or the meds he was prescribed. In the end it was a nurse we had not seen before who did this. Was at the ER yesterday they did the same tests that were done a week ago with the same results I already knew what they would say they went no further to find out what was wrong with me was told to go home with no relief they then told me if the problem persisted to come back what a joke I ould rather go to an emergency vetranarian than go back there the place should be shut down ASAP read more

Smaller, regional hospitals are--by definition--unimpressive. This hospital is fine for routine medical tests; I've had MRIs and x-rays there, all fine. However, if I needed serious medical care or if I had a serious condition, I would default to one of the larger hospitals in the city. In other words, I wouldn't want to go to this hospital for chemo or if I was having a heart attack. Also, the staff are not entirely helpful. Every single time I've been here I've left muttering under my breath about clueless desk employees or poor planning regarding staffing needs. read more

This hospitals personal lack effective communication technique, training or desire. They are more interested in covering their responsibility then providing care to their patients. The nurses were all very attentive and compassionate the rest of the staff (doctors and social workers) were detached and uninterested at best. At times when we ask for communication we were given sarcasm. When simple communication would have prevented hours and hours and hours of additional problems they chose not to offer any and take a path of least resistance to them. If I am sick and dying in an ambulance I will ask them to drive by this hospital based on the care they gave my mother last week. read more

I have been to the ER several times and they are always slow and things take forever. But the other night I was lied to, they refused to get a social worker, and they refused to give me required paperwork by MN state law in order to hold me. Alina hospitals in general do not follow MN state law and the doctors are rude and do not respect patients when they are asked to leave. read more

After experiencing a nightmare at a Fairview clinic (developed a phobia of the doctor's office from the experience) I decided to call the clinic in Buffalo as I had been a patient there many years ago when I lived here back in 2012. From the moment I got to the desk, I was treated with kindness, respect and patience. I explained my anxiety level was at it's worst. My MA while professional was also calming and reassuring. My PA Kari Ann Hegg has restored my faith in true medical professionals. She listened, she was not condescending. She was kind and compassionate. She has allowed me to take a major step back in the direction of not fearing a medical visit. In addition, I asked for my script to go to my local Pharmacy which closed an hour earlier than the others in the chain. I contacted the service, asked for the Doctor on call, He immediately called ME and sent a script to the pharmacy where I was so that I could take my meds on schedule without interruption. I had a phenomenal experience. I am so glad that I made that call! read more
