The menu is pretty extensive and they have menu plans that seem to save a little money. I got an 18 euro for the plat and dessert. The plat was pork andouillette sausage with green beans. The portions were large. The pork was 240 grams. It was a bit fatty and a nice bit of spice. The outside was grilled with a hint of char. They also provide a very nice gravy to dip it into. I liked everything very much but could not finish. The chocolate mousse was pretty good. Better than some in Paris. I liked the texture. I had a 37.5 cl bottle of Chateau des Tours Beaujolais for 13.9 euro that was OK. I normally do not like Beaujolais much but thought I would try it. Sevice was OK and they have an English copy of the menu. Pay as you leave. The whole meal was 32.60.

Amazing find off the beaten path in Amboise. One look into the window and we were sold - not only…read moredid the menu entice, but the sight of that huge grill right as you step into the building with delicious smells and smoke blowing around - we didn't even think twice. We were seated upstairs and all enjoyed a very hearty meal that fueled us for the rest of our day. I had the pork skewer plate and do wish I would have went with one of the fixed menu options for a smaller portion but I REALLY wanted the gourmet dessert plate with coffee so what is a girl to do?! I had a really wonderful glass of wine as well. Seemed like a really down to earth and fun place where babies and elders alike are welcome to sit and enjoy a meal together.
