At my first visit,…read moreI was called back 10 minutes late, and after the medical assistant did his thing I was waiting another 15 minutes for Dr Frachetti. This I did not appreciate because my time is as valuable as anyone else's time and if I had been me keeping them waiting then there would likely been a fee of some sort for me being late. I've seen various reviews about Dr Frachetti 'cutting off patients' mid-sentence and so I was on the lookout for it and sure enough she did do the same to me. However something occurred to me: I do the same thing at my job, when people ramble on with unnecessary details or side stories not related to the task at hand. I am detail oriented and want to solve the problem with *relevant* information. NO feelings, no side quests, not what happened in 1973, but just the facts. And I think that Dr Frachetti is probably the same. Does it come across as rude? Sure, it can. But if any of us, in any of our jobs, allowed customers to tell us their life stories at every visit instead of just the relevant facts: then we'd only be able to help one or two people per day. I did make a second appointment; I'll update this as I receive more care. Hopefully the next visit I'll be taken on time but for now Dr. Frachetti seems, at least to me, to be very intelligent and detail-focused.

Instead of getting medical care or a doctor willing to look at my situation and help me adjust my treatment plan so I didn't have to go through that again, I was outright denied being seen. After everything I went through just to get there, I was treated with total dismissal and discrimination. Finding a specialist who is supposed to manage your health only to be turned away at the door when you need them most is beyond unacceptable. That office apparently is for white people only ! Mind you I have insurance coverage and was turned away.

The office opens at 8:30. Again, she was 45 min late. No apology, no recognition either time. If she could've finished the follow up in 5 min she would have. As you may have read before on reviews of mine that when it comes to Doctors one of the things I insist on in my or my families physicians is Compassion and Knowledge and this practice has that in Spades. Dr. O'Neil is amazing, she was able to effectively diagnose and start appropriate treatment for an issue that has just recently cropped up in a family member. So starting off, the office has a calm, peaceful vibe. Its not just the staff, the colors are muted and pastel, the music in the waiting room is calm, the staff is welcoming and the waiting room has something you almost never see in a doctors office: comfortable furniture. The Nurses and the Doctor herself are top notch also. My family member went in with a migraine brewing to a visit, and the nurses made the room dark as soon as they were done with triage and spoke quietly out of concern. The Doctor offered acupuncture (normally something they charge for) to stop it in its tracks. Now I don't know if I ever believe that stabbing yourself with thin needles is spots is a cure for anything, but within 10 minutes she felt the pressure diminish and within 15 minutes the pain was gone. This is just ancillary service btw, the actual issue that brought my family member in was nailed immediately and a proper course of treatment was started right away and that, I might add, started reversing much of the Symptomology immediately. If you have an issue that requires a Rheumatologist I highly recommend this practice.

I personally like the feel of a women empowered medical office. They truly want to get to know you and your medical history! They won't stop til they have answers and your input! If your looking for a Rheumatologist than look no further. They'll send you for any medically necessary tests and review test results with you in office or over the patient portal. They respond to your voicemails within 48 hours unless your a new patient and then it would probably be longer. Discovered Rheumatology Wellness Center in 2017 and will be here for a long time. Remember they are flexible as to your medical treatments moving forward. If your looking for a relaxing and calm office setting this is your place!
