First of all Bud no longer works here. Rich is the owner now. Call him Bud for a good joke. All that aside, I'm very fussy about my hair. I get it cut in a tight flattop to the skin on the top. It's the hardest cut for a barber to do. The majority of barbers I've ever gone to can't get it right even if I show them a picture before starting. Rich gets it right. read more

I have been going here a couple of years. I live over in San Juan, so I make the trip because they are good at their work. I went to Jerry's in San Jose for many years, Jerry retired and sold to some guys who are nice, but I believe they are running more book than cutting hair. Not the spot for an old guy. Anyway, the three main guys do a great job and the prices are fair. It is a real barbershop... so, you know, be good with that when you go. read more

After a few years of not going to Bud's (I didn't like the wait time) I retuned because my alternative barber shop seems to be going out of business (Supercuts, Watsonville). I was very pleased with everything. The shop still looks comfortable and clean. I'm very pleased with the haircut and the barber (I stupidly can't remember his name). Was friendly and professional. I'll be going back for sure! read more

Jesus does a great job! I don't trust anyone else with my haircut. He takes time and makes sure that you like your cut before you leave the barber shop. read more

I just went in to get a haircut. This is by far the worst haircut I have got in my entire life. I showed the barber the picture in the left of what I exactly wanted. I was very precise with detail about how I wanted my hair, I showed him the picture to the left. The picture to the right is how he left me. I was so livid I just paid him and left. There's absolutely no way my hair can be fixed. It just has to grow back. Barbers, please do not turn your client around so they can't see themselves in the mirror. Thanks to this my hair is ruined two days before Christmas. read more

Brought my 2 year old son, gave him a great hair cut. My son was having a really hard time sitting for the cut, but the barber was so patient with us and he finally got my son settled down to do the cut. He did a good job with my son who was not having it when we first came in. Will bring him back. read more

This is one of those places that doesn't want to grow from where they are at. What I mean by that is the shop seem really old, chairs were ripped and kinda dirty. I walked in to get a hair cut and the guy told me to wait because he was on break. I was the only client he had at the shop, no one else waiting and no one he was working on. I sat down and waited about 6 minutes while he chopped it up with his buddies. He didn't talk to me the whole time even when I tried to make conversation he seemed like I was bothering him. He finally did my hair and did not take his time. My hairline was pushed back, the fade was not good, and he didn't even ask me how I liked it when he was done. I told him it wasn't what I was looking for, but I guess it'll do. Oh and get this, the whole time he was cutting my hair I didn't have a mirror to look at to see if I was liking it. Overall it was probably the worst or one of the worst barber shop experiences I had. Not only because the haircut sucked but because the guy seemed to be bothered that I was there. I think you will like this shop if you're looking for a basic haircut, and if you don't care about customer service. It just doesn't make sense to me how someone can be rude or not welcoming to a customer that is giving them money for their services. Don't recommend and won't go back, Ariana Grande said it best.... thank you next! read more

After going around town finding a barber that would see my two boys just to be told that they are busy and can't see anyone else, I finally stop at Bud's barber. They were busy too but they said they will do my boys hair cuts. They had patience for my boys and did an amazing job. I would Definitely bring my boys here again. read more
