This review is for a straight-razor shave, not for a haircut…read more After the main barber shaved my face, I realized once I got a chance to stare in the mirror at my house that the $14+tip I paid for the shave was basically a waste. I had numerous cuts all over my face and areas that were simply not shaved down properly. I ended up re-shaving my face when I got home to my satisfaction. Staff were friendly and shop was a standard, basic barber setup. I would recommend trying another spot (although more expensive) to see if you have better results. Review 2/22 lets gooo! This review is long overdue…read more I was looking for a place where I could get a design on my undercut and I happen to come across David and his shop. At the time he was in North Richland hills in a small shopping outlet. I learned to call ahead and make an appointment because he is a busy guy. The first time I went he was closed but the next time I visited there was about a 20 min wait or so because he was booked up for the day. He is very friendly and professional. You can see he really enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work. I went in the first time and showed him a picture of what I wanted for my undercut. David did a great job on my undercut for just looking at a picture. David has many years of experience doing guys' hairs and also does amazing cuts on girls who like edgy hairstyles. Even when I showed him that picture of the undercut I wanted he did not shy away from a challenge. I have visited David for touch-ups and sometimes for a new design for my undercut. The last time I visited was before 2020 and David mention there was a high probability he was moving to a new location hours away from NRH. I believe this location is closer to his home because he mentioned it to me before. He also mention he had a daughter who had a hair salon and at the time he was splitting his time between helping his daughter there and his NRH location. I believe he is now working with his daughter instead of the NRH location. I highly recommend going to David to get you looking your best.

My husband and I just moved in to town and for the past 2months he went to Daper Dan to cut his hair and I really hated the way they cut his hair! (Psst what a controlling wife right? Lol) nah.. I think it also bother him! And according to him they are not that pleasant to work with either he said "they think they are hair God or something" but anyway.. this review is about David right? So we looked around on Yelp and found David! We called him up and he said just come in! And so we did! We literally had the best experience ever! So he started cutting his hair and for my liking it was still a bit too long so I told David just cut it the way you think it should! So he took his razor blades I think that's what it's called lol. And started shaving the bottom of his head! At first my husband got a lil worried I can see it in his eyes! But then let's trust the barber right? Man.. David did some justice! Probably best hair cut ever! And he looks super clean and sharp! I love it!! Definitely will come back!

Don't go here unless you want a horrible haircut. Right off the bat this lady has an attitude. My…read morehair is somewhat longer and I was just wanting a slight trim. I tell her I'm trying to grow it out especially leave it longer in the back. I tell her to trim the back, get my bangs slightly above my brow line and blend everything else and add texture. Long story short she goes to chopping my hair taking at least 2 inches off the back and everywhere else, completely chops my bangs, they are almost an inch and a half above my brows and I had to stop her several times about how much she was taking off. She argues with me about it and at this point I can't leave I have to let her finish screwing my hair up. The one and only time I will go to this lady absolutely ridiculous and beyond frustrating. So if you like a fucked up hair cut and terrible attitude go here for sure.
