A bit…read moredifferent than a lot of the other craft shops more the tradional crafts ..They seem to stock the extras rather than the staples of the craft..Loads of cotton threads but not fabric..Loads of buttons but only very limited knitting yarn etc. The Button collection is the best I have ever seen Anyone who loved playing in their mother/graninies button box as a child will love this place. They are reasonable priced too. They have a good range of tapestries and thread as well as the cross stitch.. I do find the staff are aloof and unhelpful and it is not a childfriendly shop which is a shame.

Before Christmas, my wife and I visited Cheltenham for the day from Birningham and my wife bought some ribbon from this shop. When we got home, my wife said that she wished she had bought more so I telephoned the shop who were quick to identify the ribbon from the description I gave them, directed me to a web site to double check we had the right one and, because they did not have the quantity I wanted in stock, ordered from the wholesaler, informed me when it was available, took payment over the phone and posted the ribbon to me. At all points, I was dealt with politely and efficiently. The order was only very small - just a few pounds - but I was nevertheless given the impression that my custom was important. I have worked in customer service all my life and tend to by hyper critical but I found my experience with this shop to be first class.

This is a tiny shop but a little gem.. for those hard to find craft items…read more. I use it mainly for the wools patterns and buttons. You will not find high quality yarn here but great basic stock Ideal baby knitting always have a few baby garments knitted and on dispay in window.. A great range of buttons which are sold indivually. The staff are always friendly and even though the shop is tiny its always busy there are always two or three customers in the shop

I am an artist and as such get an awful lot of framing done which can be both stressfull and time…read moreconsuming. I used to use Habitat for all my frames and found cutting all the mounts etc a real pain so I decided to go for a professional framer in the end. I found Paul working from his fathers wedding photography studio and got him to do a few frames for me and realised how much easier life could be. paul has produced consistantly good quality frames with a service which is second to none. He has always tried to ensure deadlines are met and that I don't have to put in too much effort and the results are always great. He isn't the cheapest but he's not much more than others and sometimes it is worth a bit extra for a better service. Highly recommended!
