I have used budget Dumpster Rental many times over the last 8 years. First the negative and then the positive to end on a high note. #1 problem I have with them is they are unwilling to give you a eta. They expect that the burden of making sure the spot you want the dumpster is clear and the gates are open for the entire day since they won't commit to a time slot for delivery or pick up. This can be difficult since I am not living in the houses I need them at and it is not easy or cost effective for me to keep paid staff at a location simply to unlock a gate for them. These gates can not be left unlocked and unattended due to other equipment we have on site and not wanting it to walk off. #2 If you are not there to open the gate, or there is something in the way of the dumpster they will charge you a $150 fee for the inconvenience to them. Never mind the inconvenience of them not committing to a time slot and the inconvenience to me that causes. #3 If you are over their weight limits by even one pound you will also be slapped with a overage fee. Now the positive 1. There prices are normally lower than the average I have found in the area. 2. When they do show up their drivers are professional and are good at placing the dumpster exactly where I want it without damage to the property . Overall I will probably continue to use them. I do wish they would address my issues and respect my time as much as their own and maybe allow a little grace when it comes to overages but otherwise you will get what you expect from these guys. read more

Budget Dumpster (Tampa) prices are reasonable. I ordered a dumpster on a Thursday and as expected it was delivered on time on Monday. However, it was subcontracted with Red Box Dumpster. Upon delivery, the Red Box driver instructed me to contact Budget Dumpster to schedule the pick up. Based on the contract I knew we had until 25th of June 2020. So, on that same day which it was delivered. I scheduled the pick up for the 25th of June in order to not be charged any additional fees. On the 26th I called to say that it had not been removed. From the 26th of June to today (July 2, 2020) I have called Budget and Red Box at least twice in each day. All they do is promise that it is to be removed each day when they know that it is not being picked up for some unknown reason. I have explained that we cannot get our riding lawn mower out of the garage to cut the grass. I don't know anything else I can do other than call the Sheriffs office. It is now an entire week pass the pickup date which was arranged on the 15th of June. I can not say whether I would or not use this service again. But, based on the run around I've gotten I think I may not. Finally, I spoke to the owner of Red Box and he said he would call his driver to pick it up today. We are still waiting!!! read more

Bad People, i ordered a 40 yards dumpster and got delivered on July a much smaller dumpster one, since i was going to load with insulation material i asked it to be removed from site since it was too small, they came the very next day and removed. now October 26 i got charged my AMEX $625 saying i had 2.9 tons of debris in it. I called and spoke with customer service and they said that their system mentioned "returned empty". But later today I received a phone call saying that it was NOT and they will not refund me. The dumpster was delivered on time and picked up on the date we agreed.I asked for a courtesy call for pick up and drop off and they honored my request. I only rented the dumpster over the weekend but I had the option of using the dumpster for 10 days for the same price. They do not drop off or pick up dumpsters on the weekend. I ordered a dumpster on the 2nd and was told it was a 14 day rental and they would automatically extend the rental for an additional 10 days as a courtesy. On the 30th I wondered why it hadn't been picked up and called them (after having to search my online banking history for their number, since I never received any kind of email confirmation from them) and was informed that I would need to pay additional fees for the time past the initial 14 day period and that they do not give people additional time for free, as I was told (I thought it sounded overly generous, but who was I to complain?). I explained that no one had told me that I needed to call them to come get the dumpster, and was told that they tell everyone, and that I must have been told. I explained that I had not been told and they continued to disagree with me. This business model seems specifically designed to wring additional fees out of people who, like most, would assume a company can manage to count to 14 on their own. Biggest racket on earth. Under the guise of a signed agreement they take advantage of the consumer in every possible way. I opted for this company because of the name and the budget I had on a project. They quoted me a price that was very reasonable and then the process of over charging me for everything quickly began. They require the customer to call into the company when it should be picked up as long as it is within the time frame that they mentioned to you over the phone. You better write that I'm down because if you go over they charge you per day for each additional day that it is on site. The customer service is awful the woman I spoke to was short with me over the phone and openly critical of whatever I said. She kept instantly referencing me to the agreement which I'm sure some overpriced lawyer root for them so that it was Bulletproof and rather than avoid conflict they could just constantly Point everyone back in the direction the agreement which was fairly vague in the first place. Then two and a half weeks after they picked up the dumpster I get an invoice in my email first several hundred dollars more then the original quote that I already paid for. Evidently this was overages that they charged me after the pickup. I literally could have rented 2 dumpsters for cheaper than what they charged me for one including the almost $500 in overages. When I inquired about the Auto cost again they immediately reference me back to my agreement and had almost zero sympathy For What had occurred. I was told that I should be able to a ball what a ton of demoed material should look like. Again the woman I spoke to was extremely rude and actually spoke down to me as if I was in the wrong even enquiring about the added invoice in the first place since "clearly" it was already discussed in my agreement.
