But on my birthday August 2023 I treated myself to a reproduction horse statue that I later realised I was way overcharged for, as in, I paid $250 and the item is all over ebay for as low as $30. I won't go back there and gave the item away as I didn't even want to look at it anymore. I had regrets at the time even for paying so much for an item I couldn't afford, but now realising I can't even sell it and get my money back is a real disapointment.

You cannot buy spare parts from anyone else but their dealers in the very country that supported them in the first place. Their dealers charge a super-premium price for items that can be readily bought at electronic suppliers for peanut prices. The problem is, you have to do mega research to source. On top of that, simple components such as a 6" by 12" piece of fiberglass insulation worth maybe $2.00 costs you a whopping CAD60.00 at the Dealer. A complete rip-off. Thes items can be had on-line for a fraction, but in the USA, and shipping back to Canada is outrageous. Caught between a rock and a hard place, I could not in all good conscience recommend any of their products.

I responded to an…read moreadvertisement on Facebook but unfortunately it was a long time with a few calls included until I got a response and was able to scheduled an in-house measure-up, etc. We went down to the showroom to check out the fabric choices more closely and all the samples we looked at from the catalog that we really liked were no longer available. Why were they in the book? While we did get a quote on a less preferred brand that at least had a few fabrics we liked reasonably well, being the picky type, we finally decided to go elsewhere. I have no problem recommending Budget Blinds. My spouse and I just didn't feel like continuing on to ordering after the disappointing issues with an out of date sample catalogue. I think they need to do a better job with their communications and customer service. Their estimator really tried though to make us happy.
