Ambience:
A lot of seats can be found here but the restaurant was nearly full with only two tables left when we arrived. You need to order before sitting. No problem-o! My seat near the wall had very narrow space and low table height for legroom. I always love their Pahiyas Festival decor!
Food:
Buddy Pizza Regular was good! This Pinoy-style pizza has a thick crust common among slices sold by vendors of other local pizza. Toppings were spot-on and the cheese's melted texture kept our mouths swimming.
Paksiw na Lechon was very delicious and good thing it came with rice. We shared it though one hungry person can finish everything. Expect some fat but that's part of the experience, and a fair share of meat and skin is also available.
Lumpia Ubod was being ordered by a lot of people so we tried it without regrets. Nutty and saucy flavor of the subtly crunchy ubod was addicting, like peanut butter in kare-kare.
Sago and Gulaman was refreshing though we noticed a slightly bitter flavor on top of all that sweetness. It reminded us of burnt sugar, an easy mistake done with leche flan.
Service:
We were actually reading previous reviews about their challenged service time, but ours was pretty reasonable and very much worth the wait. read more
