The staff were super friendly and easy to talk to, and they actually took the time to chat about what I was looking for instead of just pointing at a menu. It felt more like getting advice from someone who enjoys the products themselves rather than a rushed retail interaction. The selection was impressive for a stop along the way. Lots of quality flower, a good variety of pre-rolls, and plenty of edibles and drinks if that's more your thing. Everything was well organized and easy to browse. Prices were solid too, especially for a travel stop. A few good value options that made it easy to grab something quality without spending a fortune. All in all it was a great little stop during the trip. Friendly people, great selection, and fair prices. If you're passing through Parksville or staying nearby, it's definitely worth popping into.

I went to return it and was told only a manager can accept returns and she isn't in for another 4 days. When I finally spoke with her I was told they don't accept returns unless it's broken and because of covid they can't accept it. But it's ok to return a used item that's broken even with COVID? Worse yet I was only asking to exchange for a more expensive item. So this place gets 1 star, solely because the manager refused to do anything and gave me an excuse that just doesn't hold up! It's not about the $70 I lose for something I won't use, but because management doesn't seem to care about anything outside of them making money. Better options in Courtenay, don't waste your time here
