I moved to the area recently from out of state and am without a primary care physician. My health is excellent, with only two well controlled preexisting conditions. Today I called to inquire as to my status, after 3 weeks of silence from their office. After being placed on hold for several minutes, the receptionist returns to inform me that they turned down my new patient request . It is unacceptable that a medical practice would not provide a more timely response to something as vital as requests for primary care. 3 weeks I have waited for acknowledgement of receipt of my request and a response. If Dayspring Family Practice truly cared for the welfare of potential clients, then they would contact applicants as soon as decisions on acceptance/denial are made so that their search for a medical care provider can continue if needed. It's basic business courtesy. Clients should not have to chase up providers to get a response!

I arrived here on time for my son's 11:30am check up appointment. There were a few people waiting…read morein line ahead of me. I waited about 3-4 minutes. They still require masks to be worn. We were checked in by 11:34am. While waiting, i noticed that the seats are DISGUSTING! They truly need to be thrown away and replaced. It seems counter productive to require masks but have patients and their families sitting on dirty and uncleaned furniture. They used to have a sick side and a well side, but it's just all one side now. We were called back around 11:38am. We stopped to triage room to get vitals (height, weight, BP). We were placed in a room at 11:42am and told that the doctor would be in "shortly". From my last two experiences here, I feared "shortly" wouldn't be so short. It was cold in the waiting room and in the upper 40s outside. I went out at 12:24pm to check on the wait but the doctor and nurses were talking and I didn't want to interrupt. So I waited a couple minutes and went back. While waiting at the counter, a nurse came out a room and asked if I needed help. I told her I had been waiting for 40 minutes and wanted to now how much longer. The nurse who did the initial triage said pointed to the doctor and that she would be there soon. The doctor herself stated that she was coming. My son's doctor is Dr. Law, who came at 12:30pm. She apologized for the wait and thanked us for our patience. Dr. Law is a knowledgeable and friendly individual. My interactions with her has been nothing but positive. We left after being there 1.5 hours... When you exit to check out, there is directions telling you where to go. Also, you exit through the pharmacy which is right next door. My only issue with this practice is the wait. Every time I've been here, I've waited 45+ minutes in the room, which I think is ridiculous for a scheduled appointment. On top of that, it wasn't even that busy this visit and wasn't at the previous visits.... So I just don't understand. I'm traveling 40 minutes from Greensboro with attempts to keep some consistency with my kid and his medical providers. However, after this being the 3rd time I've had to wait this long, I will be looking for another provider.
