Griz boot is the place to go to get Whites or Hawthorn boots -- they'll measure up your feet order boots for two different size feet and sell you a pair of boots that might take a month to break in, but they will very truly last you an entire lifetime. (With a few sole replacements). And when I say two different sizes I don't mean just the number, I have two different number size boots that were also made to different widths, they don't have just a few widths, they have them all, and will help you figure out what you SHOULD have been wearing your whole life. Sure they're a bit expensive, but it's not because they're trendy, it's because they're quality. I bought a pair on recommendation from the loggers and fire fighters that i worked with, and have more than once since been told that owning a pair of whites or hawthorns is a marker of a man's character and work ethic.
