Their storefront is great to see each item and how they go together. I also loved the recommendations Katarina was able to make. I never felt pressured to rent more or go outside of my budget either. The delivery set up and pick up was pretty seamless as well (coordinated by Katarina and our wedding planner).

Event Source fulfills some kind of strange, sick need within my soul…read more I'm one of those people who daydreams about setting tables. Weird but true! In Event Source, I can play with the table settings to my heart's content. Whenever I have cause to be in here, I literally look at the options and try to dream up events where I can employ my fantasies. Those are some pretty strong feelings about tablecloths, eh?! Tablecloths, napkins, flatware, china, serving pieces, chairs, tables, the list goes on and on. You'd be really surprised what you can rent for your event! And boy, do I. For our wedding, I liked the linens that came with the venue, but we punched up the tables by adding a different napkin and a table runner. For the more "VIP" tables we changed out the tablecloth and napkin, and added chargers. Doing the whole room would've been a little too spendy, but with Event Source, we could very effectively make our wedding look above-ordinary. I also used Event Source when I hosted Thanksgiving for 22 people at my house. I ordered all the china (I have some nice china, but man, who has 22 place settings?), which was super fun because of course I went with something I wouldn't have BOUGHT in that kind of quantity. Gold filigree for everyone! (Also, bread plates, gold handled flatware, gold rimmed water goblet and wine glass.) Napkins and tablecloths, too. A plate is, like, less than $2 to rent. Totally worth it. The best part -- didn't have to wash dishes! Yep, ES asks that you return them "dirty" (we rinsed at least). Same goes for linens. Just put 'em in the provided laundry bags. Do you know how long it would've taken me to launder and iron all those table linens?! It may have never gotten done. You can rent things in sets of 10 (some other items may have different quantities... Ask!). Think beyond the wedding. ES is a lifesaver (and a dreamscape) for other events as well! Customer service is top notch. Next time you're headed to ES, can I come?

Brandy was not only brilliant in making my Halloween themed baby shower come to life, but she took away every ounce of stress that comes with party planning, met my budget requirements and allowed me to actually enjoy my day. I consulted with her during a visit in September and gave her the run-down of what I envisioned and what I got was above and beyond any of my expectations. Hands down the best party experience I've had, and that's even over my own wedding! She's meticulous and gets the job done flawlessly. And I had just settled on the french provincial theme for my daughter's baptism. Ali met with me within a few days. We talked about my event and what I envisioned. It seemed in no time at all, she understood perfectly what I was looking for. We quickly started looking at pictures of what I liked. Ali started describing to me the pieces that she had that would work for my event. I was very excited. The only catch was that Ali was due to leave for a 3 week vacation the day after we met. How was I to make the various decisions that were needed? That's why I needed Ali in the first place. Well, Ali reassured me that she would be in touch with me while she was away and we would continue to work together to get done what was needed. Though, I may have to do some legwork in her absence. Ali provided me with contacts for event rentals, photographer and baker. I even sent her pictures of the event spaces I was considering and got her feedback as to which would work with my theme, her experience working with the particular vendor, etc. Upon her return and with one week until my daughter's event, Ali reached out to me and we decided on flowers. And when I say we, it was really Ali. I showed her pictures that I liked. She showed me a picture of an idea. I green-lighted. And she took it from there. She also worked directly with the site events manager to coordinate set up. It really was so easy to work with Ali. I trusted her ability to carry out my vision and her professionalism. With guests coming into town and working and keeping up with a 2 year old and 3 month old, I had enough on my plate. I'm so glad my trust and confidence were rewarded by an absolutely beautiful and spot-on realization of my vision. Recommendations: Cake - Ali recommended Adrian of Kennedy's Kakes to me (https://www.kkakes.com). I cannot say it loud enough...HANDS DOWN THE BEST CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD. And the most delicious and beautiful desserts. This was better that my wedding cake. My guests all ooo'ed and ahh'ed over them all. I had the joy of taking all of the leftovers home with me and enjoying them for the few days after the baptism. The amazing thing is that I never tasted Adrian's cakes before ordering with her. I trusted Ali and I was richly rewarded for it. My taste buds are grateful. Photographer - Ali recommended Sarah of Blue Posie (https://www.facebook.com/blueposie). Sarah was so wonderful to work with. She contacted me in advance and as for the style of pictures that I wanted for the day. She asked for pictures of the key family members and their names. She was prepared with all of this the day of. She captured what I wanted and make it better. And she did so while expecting in just a few weeks and on one of the hottest days of the summer yet. I wanted to be transported to the french countryside on a day a special event is celebrated. And that is what Ali did for me and my guests. I am so grateful. This occasion will never be repeated. Ali's design stole my breath as soon as I stepped into the room and fills me with joy every time I remember the day of my daughter's baptism. Eternally grateful!

Plus there is a ton of parking alongside and in back. Order at the counter, a bit odd for a place this nice. Drool over the pastry case while you're there. The menu is interesting, with many good breakfast and lunch options. I went with a cup of the goulash and the salmon sandwich. The goulash was good, seasoned but not spicy, thick and meaty, with large chunks of tender beef. Perfect on a cold day. The salmon sandwich was perhaps not as fitting on a chilly day, but I love smoked salmon and had to try it. Large slabs of tasty salmon, a good bun, fresh toppings, a decent portion. Plus you get a fruit cup, which I chose, perfectly ripe pineapple plus good grapes (or you can have chips.) Service was friendly and fast, though minimal. Prices are pretty good for the quantity and quality. I was very tempted by the sweets, but we have plenty at home in this holiday season. They do have seasonal offerings and samplers/gift boxes of cookies, marzipan, etc.
