I been in Texas since Summer 2021 and I just now got to experience a Buc-ee's. Wow holy crap this place is like the size of a walmart. I didn't check out the bathrooms this trip because I honestly came in to grab a phone charger (which they have near the registers) I walked around for 30 minutes in awe with everything that they had in the store. I ended up becoming a true Texan last night with purchasing my first Buc-ee's apparel which was an aztec jacket. I'm looking forward to my road trip this week and experiencing more Buc-ee's read more

(Covid time) I always love Buc-ees's for their great store and food options. During this pandemic, they have signs requiring customers to wear masks, but no one actually enforces it. If you are feeling sick or are wary of potentially catching covid, then it may be best to skip out on this place. Normally, I'd gladly give them a 5, but with not every customer wearing a mask, I don't particularly feel inclined to stop by unless necessary. read more

They changed the frosting on the cinnamon rolls! My favorite part about Buc-ee's has always been the cinnamon rolls. I am addicted to the frosting and have had one once every week for at least a year. Last week the frosting didn't taste nearly as good, but I chalked it up to me having been sick with a cold. So I went back today excited for my cinnamon roll experience. Same thing. It now has the taste and texture of your run of the mill canned frosting. No longer does it have that spectacular bold cream cheese flavor and silky smooth texture. Now it's overly sweet with an artificial aftertaste. All I can do is pray that it's a bad batch or they just ran out of their usual frosting but will get it again. Please Buc-ee's!! read more

I love Bucees and whenever I am near one, I have to stop. I HAVE to. I was on my way to the Drive In and saw the billboard for the new location. Will I drive six miles out of my way just to go to a gas station? You better believe it! They have billboards bragging about their bathrooms. Are they really that clean? Yes! Also, their customer service is top notch, their bbq sandwiches rock, they have every kind of road food known to man, and they maintain their excellence 24/7. So amazing and also so ridiculous at the same time. Basically the most Texas thing ever. It is like Tim Taylor from the old show Home Improvement go a hold of a gas station and said it needs "more power". Picture a gas station and then super size it. Then...super size that and then...super size it one more time. It is probably 15 times larger than the next largest gas station you will find. They have everything and if you haven't been, it is worth a stop. Definitely a n experience to be had. read more

Working in Texas for a week and as a Californian, this was one of the places that was on my "must visit" list. I heard all about this place and it did not disappoint!!!!! Spent over $100 for gifts and stuff to take back. It's like if 7-11 and Walmart had a kid, and that kid turned out to be an A+ Honor Roll student. read more

I've waited a long time to visit my first Buc-ee's. It's lovely. It's fun. It's plentiful. There were just so many people on this Saturday that I really just want to return on a Monday or Tuesday at 10am so we can enjoy the place and take a look at everything without so many people. read more

Stopped here to get iced coffee while on our way to Leona general store for a birthday steak dinner! It was very clean. Someone was even in the parking lot sweeping up the trash. I love that you can make your own iced coffee & flavor it w/several different flavors that they have to choose from & cold dairy products. Their bathrooms are always very clean. Regardless, of which Buc-ee's you experience; the same problem exists. People are parking at the fuel pumps. Sometimes they put fuel in their vehicles, and then go in the store to go shopping. Sometimes they park near the fuel pumps, hog the fuel pump and come out after shopping to fuel their vehicle, and finally leave. Regardless of the order, Buc-ees needs to do better, to keep the fuel pump lines open. Signage or employees monitoring the fuel pump lines would at least help. There shouldn't be vacant automobiles, pick up trucks, RVs, parked at the gas pumps. We have pulled up many times and cannot find a free pump to fuel our vehicle. We always put fuel in our vehicle and then move the vehicle to a regular parking space. That takes some time, but it's also considerate to the next person who wants to pump gas. On three occasions, we have taken the time to attempt to get fuel at Buc-ees. Out of curiosity, we looked in the vehicles parked at the gas pumps. Each time there were at least 20 vehicles that had nobody sitting in them. That means 20 pumps were unavailable to patrons who wanted to get gas. Management should be monitoring the situation, and at least putting up signage in their clever way. Sadly, Buc-ees has so many travelers and patrons that they don't need our business. We have chosen to not use Buc-ees anymore simply because of the non-availability of gas pumps. read more

Three times I have purhased their brisket sandwich for $8...twice chopped, once sliced...all three times they were terrible...low quality meat (mostly fat and gristle)...don't waste your money on food at Buccee's. read more

Rancid Jerky - be very cautious about purchasing Jerky from this location. The jerky was overly dried and rancid- The fat had turned sour and there was mold growing on the fat. Reached out to JJ in their support department and he refused to assist in any manor. I used to purchase jerky at this location weekly - guess they dont value return customers. read more

I love buc-ee's but during this pandemic if they are not enforcing customer to wear mask they can do two things: 1.Provide mask at the front for those 2. Do not let customer grab food on their own since not every customer is wearing mask. read more

Stopped on our way from Dallas to Houston and was helped by a very rude lady. Ordered jalapeño cheese sausage kolaches and noticed she had not gotten the correct one and asked her about it and she snapped at us and told us "they're all the same." While on the road, we opened the box and realized that they weren't the same and they definitely were not what we had wanted. Worst experience at a Buccee's we've ever had! read more

What do you get with the cleanest bathrooms along the interstate highway system and 120 gas pumps. You know. This is the third one we stopped at in TX as tourists. We had lunch in Ennis and came here for people watching and get dessert. Virus masking sign on door needs to be changed as there is no longer any state/local govt requirement to wear a mask indoors. This branch is located in what looks like the Great Plains, rolling hills of yellow grass all around. They have decent service on gas, decent tasting food, and a strong knick knacks section. I would rank it just behind the Denton Buc-ee's and just ahead of the Terrell Buc-ee's as far as the Dallas metro area is concerned. read more

I like Buc-ee's but it is highly overrated. Every time we have visitors from the east coast, they want to go. It's ok!

Whenever I drove and went outside Houston. I stopped by Buc-ee's. The gas station always offered me gas, restrooms, and some food&beverage. When I visited Dallas, I was here in Ennis. The gas station was huge. People could buy very Texas gifts such as cowboy hats. I didn't have to buy Texas gifts in Houston China town, which will be cheaper than Bruc-ee's. LOL. I pumped gas and bought a sandwich. Some Yelpers criticized that Bru-cee's was 'COVID-19 friendly".The restrooms were clean. But I couldn't see any hand sanitizer stations which were common in supermarket, Houston. I think that people all over the country visited this gas station. Please, please, please be careful of the sanitation! read more

We make it a thing to stop at Buckeyes on the way to Dallas, Austin and San Antonio. We will not do this anymore. No more advertising by wearing your shirts. No more stops. We can go to other places to get food. Today the staff making the food very rude. Used to LOVE Buccees but it seems the last year their quality and hospitality has slipped to the point of it no longer being anything special. Their sandwiches are more bread now than anything. If you want the best gas station ever go here. They have restaurant quality food, lots of snacks, candy for days, and lots of drink options. Buc-ees is a must whenever I go on a road trip.
