Seldom do I give any place 5 stars, but B4 deserves it. To start, the place is inside a feed store…read more/ western wear store. When you enter, go through the clothing section and turn left. Their menu is broad enough to satisfy anyone. We were behind a guy who was ordering for a medium size group of folks, probably seven or eight. We were expecting to wait a bit. WRONG!!! After we ordered we sat down to wait on a bench. The back of the bench was a tailgate from a pickup truck. Way cool. The other guys order was ready in minutes. Stunned and amazed. Ours was ready about a minute or so later. Ours was to go, so we brought everything back to the house. We got brisket sandwiches and a pulled pork sandwich and some macaroni and cheese. We also got some of the pork belly burnt ends. The brisket and pulled pork were both first rate. I tasted the sauce that came on the side just out of curiosity. It's quite different from any I'd had before. Though it wasn't needed, I dipped a little of the brisket into it. It's a bit worchestershire sauce forward, but acted as a really nice complement to the beef. The real star is the pork belly burnt ends. Those are some of the finest things I've ever eaten. I'm notceven going to try to explain it, but I'm not sure I could. There's a bit of perhaps Korean fusion, but WOW! I mean it. I would order this every time.

Driving around Texas eating at places on the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ places…read more Doing a 48 hour trip and B4 Barbeque was our first stop on Wednesday. Beware that this BBQ spot is located inside of a country feed store. The sign for the feed is large and visible from the road while the B4 sign is smaller. Parking lots of gravel lot. You enter the feed store walk through all the clothing and look to your left. We arrived at 10:45 and we were first in line. They didn't open till 11:15am as they had computer problems. You order and pay at the counter they prepare the order of food in the back and bring it out to your table. We got the 2 meat plate with 2 sides (1/2) pound of protein and we added a Texas Twinkie, The plate also includes pickles, onions, bread and BBQ sauce. The brisket looked good and tasted ok, it was sliced a bit thinner than what Zi am used to getting. The sausage was very tasty. The Texas Twinkie was a small size Twinkie not worth the price. The street corn looks beautiful and tasted delicious. The potato salad had too much vinegar for my taste. The roll was nice and warm. In my opinion B4 Barbeque is a good place to stop and eat at if you are driving by. Congrats on making the Texas Monthly Top 50 list.
