My truck stopped running and I called my insurance company…read morefor a tow , the first one they called said under 60 minutes and I had waited over 2 hours, then they called Flash Towing insurance said another 60 minutes. It was dark, late and rainy and I was tired and irritated. Flash Towing came in about 30 minutes or less. The guy Buzzy was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I got home. He even went out of his way to try alternatives so I wouldn't have to pay for towing. You can tell he's just a kind hearted person naturally which really goes along way when you're having a horrible day. I would definitely recommend Flash Towing and this we'll be the only tow service my family or myself will ever use if I ever need one again. The driver let me ride with him, and he informed me that Walmart doesn't do service on car parts like an alternator (my car's battery was dead). I didn't know that, but asked who did. He pointed out a place on the road that should work, and we pulled in. They gave me an estimate, and told me to wait until the next day for the part to arrive. An extra bonus was he drove me back to the retirement home when we were finished! No extra charge!

While in the waiting area, as they were doing their analysis stuffs, I was talking to another customer who had been traveling through on business in his service truck. He had to stay a few nights in a motel while parts were ordered and such but he was telling me how happy he was with these guys and how honest they had been with him. They could have told him anything and never seen him again but he got out inexpensively. So, I was feeling better already. They tested mine and, I was expecting scary transmission money, however they came back and found it to be a fix for under $180 since it was not an internal trans problem. Ordered the part and next day it was fixed. I had read about my problem online, and had others give me their educated guesses. They could have gotten away with telling me it was something far worse since the symptoms mimicked a bigger problem. Anyway, it was good advice that I received to bring it hear and I only wish that they could do everything I need to my truck but they have certainly earned my business and I believe they will earn yours too if you give them a shot. I am glad I did.

My mother and I broke down after a late visit to Walmart this evening. Though it was late at night (about 4 AM), he didn't mind and told us all we needed to know without any fuss. He helped get the car back into the garage and the whole process took less than half an hour. It was $55 plus a $10 charge for overnight service which is reasonable in my opinion. Though it's unfortunate our car is giving us issues, Doug didn't and I'm happy to hand him 5 stars. If something comes up in the future and we're nearby, we'll call Huff's again.
