This place is strictly for old men & Children's haircuts…read more It's unfortunate I didn't know that was their style before going in because I walked out furious afterward. What I asked for was clearly out of this guys skill set or specialty because before starting I had given him my suggestions on what I wanted & instead of saying he couldn't do that, he told me he had been doing hair for "15years, no problem". I trusted that but having time to look at the awful lining & style he claimed to add I wound of loosing 3months of hair that just needed a touch up & styling. Now I need to get it fixed somewhere else. I would not recommend anyone go here unless you don't care all that much. If you can't do the style asked for, just say you can't do it and as a customer I would've been fine & walked away. $15 to botch someone's hair is crazy, I would've paid you $50 to be honest in the first place. I should've know better.

He took the time to get to know me and what I do as well as giving me a bit of his back ground! Super interesting guy. I wish I could give hime a rating in the three most important qualities of a business: Price: Reason: he charges WAY below what he is worth. A beard trim only being $5 when it was easily a $20 service. And his hair cuts are only $20-$25 dollars. Service/customer-Relations: Reason: he was conversational the whole time. He might not smile much, but being able to tell he's an introvert and still conversing like we did was quite impressive. 100% happy to get to know him through my first experience. Quality of Work/Product Provided: Reason: my hair is pretty fine and fair. It isn't dense, thick, or rough. So one of my concerns going in today was that I was going to be loosing what thickness I've grown over the past 6 months and that trimming it would expose my cheek skin (facial cheeks... you weirdo...). He did an AMAZING job keeping it looking thick as it was originally while still shaping it up quite nicely to the frame of my face. If anyone is looking for a good barber to see regularly, this guy is the place to go. He doesn't do straight edge shaving, but he does about everything else.

It reminds me of the old neighborhood barbershops I went to when I was young. And he'll talk if you want to have a conversation. But he'll probably finish your haircut long before you'll be able to have an in-depth discussion with him of War and Peace.

We walked in and right away the guy was super rude. I was confused because he was not being crazy and we had just walked in ...I explain he would be fine and his response was HE HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE! Which obviously is fine and I understand but why be rude! Why not just say hey I don't feel comfortable cutting little kids hair .. Each picked up a magazine and passed the time. Furthermore, one patron was just finishing a haircut as we arrived. He clearly had a pleasant, standing rapport with the stylist. All of our haircuts met expectations, and despite the line, none of us were rushed. The store -- in kin with the rest of the shops in this center-- weathered many years of service. It was clean and pleasant to pass the time while waiting. The owner/stylist engaged in casual conversation with all the customers -- frankly a customer service 101 which has gone by the wayside in modern times. The effect captures modern day small town USA -- where locally owned shops used to knit together the community.
