I always stock up on bedding plants here in the Summer, they have a great selection of healthy plants, or ready made pots and baskets to bring lots of colour to your garden. The prices are much cheaper than the bigger stores and I think the plants are better cared for here. The staff are friendly and really helpful if you need advice on which plants would grow best in your garden. A tradional Nursery / Garden Centre with lots to offer every kind of gardener or plant lover.

The owner and his lovely team of staff do everything they possibly can to help. Deliveries can be organised and advice sought when needed. We are currently setting up a small holding and needed lots of advice about trees for the area we have just moved to, which is luckily just sup the road from the nursery, and we have been helped magnificently. That it has a lovely café for coffee and cream scones is simply the icing on the cake :-)

As well as plants (many of which are home grown) and gardening materials they also sell garden furniture and a wide range of pots and garden ornaments. Towards December they convert part of the premises into a winter wonderland and I have to say they make a real effort and make it well worth a visit even if you aren't looking to buy anything. If you do want to buy you'll find a range of top quality decorations and ornaments. If you're lucky you may even get to meet Santa and/or one of his reindeers! After browsing you can refresh yourself with drinks and snacks in the Olive Tree cafe before heading home.

It also has a lovely Cafe and at Christmas an excellent Santa's Grotto. The staff are always helpful and friendly are are close by to offer recommendations or professional advice on any Gardening matter. The Garden centre has recently been extended and now offers both an indoor and outdoor plant, its much more spacious than it once was. There is ample parking, although some spaces are located on a steep hill which is not ideal if you need to carry heavy bags of compost back to the car! It's not the cheapest place to buy plants but it has by far the best range.

Not quite up to the standards of Fron Goch but still much better than all the cheapo cafes in town.

They also have an excellent restaurant which serves locally sourced food. The menu is extensive and the service is good. The meals are well cooked. There is also a comfortable coffee area with sofas. It is popular and can get very busy especially at weekends. The cafe is upstairs but is disabled friendly having a special lift for wheelchairs. There is extensive free parking although partly on a steep slope. There is designated disabled parking on level ground near to the nursery.
