I was initially told the project would take 14 days at most and it turned into a two and a half month project. All the while the project manager ghosted me and would not provide an update unless I called. And just when you think the project is done, turns out they used untreated wood for an outdoor deck. After finally calling someone above the project manager I was give a discount for inconvenience I guess but at these prices this is simply unacceptable. I had another project lined up but did not move forward with using F&S. I am looking for a new contractor.

Hunter, the owner, was extremely responsive to all of our questions and concerns. Communication before, during, and after the project was excellent, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Hunter was on-site every day to review the work and ensure everything was completed to a high standard. What really stood out was the time Hunter spent with us before we chose him for the project. He met with us for over an hour to discuss all the possibilities, including color and material options. His attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident from start to finish. I had T&H renovate our master bathroom two years ago. It was awful. What was supposed to take weeks…read moretook several months, with the workers sometimes at my house to 2 a.m. in the morning! Other times they would show up in the morning and sit outside looking at their phones for hours while there was work to do. They installed mismatched tiles in the shower and scratched up and chipped the granite countertop on the vanity. The tile on the drain cracked in two places and I had to replace it myself. They left some of the molding unpainted and then got white paint on the walls, so I had to repaint much of the bathroom including adding some molding they did not replace and then painting much of it so it would look more professional. I've had just about every room in the house renovated and this was, by far, the most horrible experience and workmanship I've experienced as a house owner. I thought I was through with them and would never have to see them again, but now the shower is leaking into the dining room ceiling below. They said it's been more than a year so it's not covered. I'm going to find a real contractor who can do the job correctly. Safe yourself the trouble and start somewhere else.

We were able to get permits, move electrical, a plumbing vent, install LVL beams, set support posts in the basement, and have everything inspected in record setting time. As the other reviewer mentioned - GCB were also fastidiously clean! (Which was even more impressive since they refinished the drywall at the end of the job and it typically makes a huge mess) Let me tell you, there was NO MESS. They even rinsed off my houseplant. Sean did an unbelievably good job at a great price and I couldn't be happier.

He knew the local regulations, which helped me decide what to do since I wanted the work done sooner rather than later. He gave me a very reasonable quote and was available within about a week. On the day of the work he showed up on time, did an excellent job, cleaned up after himself (a nice change from the contractors who had just done work inside my home) and then went over everything with me when I came to pay him.
