I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this funeral home! from the beginning my sister-in -law & I were…read moremeant with indifference, impatience & callousness. When my brother died, I expected support, compassion, or understanding. What I received instead was dismissiveness, impatience, and a complete lack of empathy. There was no effort to show kindness, no recognition of the gravity of the situation, and absolutely no respect for the emotional trauma I was enduring. We decided to have a viewing. We were given a time, we walked into the funeral home 10 minutes before our appointed time. It was deserted! We had to look for someone to help us. They kept us waiting, what seemed like forever! In the middle of one of the darkest times of my life all they managed to do was further traumatize all of us! Finally they bring my brother into the room on a sterile metal gurney, like my brother was a slab of meat, there was no attempt to cover the gurney. It was so disrespectful & hurtful, the emotions that Carmen his widow, his niece Missy, & I his sister endured wounded us even deeper. Being treated like that was a level of insensitivity I wouldn't wish on anyone. No one should have to go through such a devastating loss and be made to feel this way. Shame on those who chose cold efficiency over basic human compassion. You didn't just fail me--you dishonored my brother's memory.

Found Expel and these guys called me within about 30 minutes of my initial out-reach...on a SATURDAY! I spoke to a very nice man named Scott who said he could fit me in on Monday (I was freaking out about the possibility of mice in my garage!!). He arrived promptly at 5:30pm as promised and immediately started looking around. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Told me what I was doing wrong (who knew you didn't place the poison feeders inside?!) and areas of the garage that could be sealed up. He even offered to go up in my attic to make sure there weren't any creatures in the house. This involved going into a very small attic crawl space on a HOT Florida afternoon. He inspected the outside of my house and pointed out areas where there were potential problems. He told me he could fix the holes in my garage where animals could get in for about $200, but was very honest about how I could probably do it myself - he even told me the tool and supplies I'd need. There was no charge for the initial visit and I truly appreciated his honesty and instructions. If I ever have another wildlife issue these are the first people I will call! No hard sell or pressure from him at all. Thank you Scott and Expel!
