The advice and insights that were offered to me were always delivered in a polite and respectful manner. I am appreciative of their services and would highly recommend Bridge to Justice to anyone. Their efforts to be able to help those with less means without compromising on the quality of the services they provide is exemplary and should be emulated by others.

They don't actually help, or do anything, even though there is often simple legal action they could take to help. "Representation" is not really what one gets. After going through a slow process to qualify, which may be too little too late, you may get to speak with an attorney. That doesn't equal representation. They pay "contract" attorneys to speak with clients. The contract attorney makes money and you don't really have help. Just because someone has a law degree, doesn't mean they know the type of law you need help with, or care. This is like a side job for bad attorneys and don't confuse non-profit with caring. It's so frustrating because they could help. Bridge to Nowhere gets money from the State and other grants, this is what they are supposed to do. This organization has always been kind of useless. They need to offer real representation. Mediate, write letters, file motions. People are overwhelmed when they need legal help and these people do nothing.

I went for more than 2 years of banging my head trying to get the other party to even talk at the table. After hiring Graham, we were at the negotiating table in less than 3 months. While I had hoped to never need these services, I would recommend Graham to anyone who may be in a similar dispute with an uncooperative, uncommunicative party. The proof is in the results. My claim is 100% settled and it wouldn't be without Graham's attention.

I hired David to draft a premarital agreement and found the experience deeply disappointing and…read moreshockingly unprofessional. From our first conversations, he approached me with a paternalistic, combative tone -- less interested in helping me meet my goals than in enforcing a rigid "process" on his terms. He repeatedly implied I didn't understand what I was asking for, openly criticized me for discussing the agreement with my fiancée, and claimed that no competent attorney would agree to our timeline. That turned out to be completely untrue. Both my fiancée's attorney and the attorney I ultimately hired were not only comfortable with the timeline, but also took a far more collaborative and respectful approach -- encouraging open dialogue about our shared goals. David ultimately quit -- but not before sending a series of passive-aggressive emails and repeatedly undermining my judgment. If you're looking for a lawyer who listens, collaborates, and treats you like an adult, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I was referred to this law firm for a domestic relations case with my ex after my previous attorney…read moreretired. I met originally with Tucker Katz for an hour and went over the issues with my case. I chose Tucker because I needed an attorney that wouldn't be retiring soon so I could have one long term. I discussed the amount of conflict between my ex and I and expressed that I needed help navigating through that conflict and I made him aware that I chose him because of his ability to be my attorney long term. As a single mother with very little extra funds, I paid the initial retainer of $3000. This was a lot of money, but looking long term, I felt it was necessary. Tucker ``represented" me for two years. I put that word in quotes because during those two years, there were no court appearances, no mediation, only one 15min phone conference with a judge. I spent a total of $6900 during those two years for a minimal amount of work. Tucker then chose to withdraw from my case and gave me a reason of my ex and I having conflict. After he agreed to discuss this decision, he never did and withdrew without any discussion. I emailed asking why nothing was set up to discuss this and he then responded stating that he wouldn't change him mind and came up with a completely different reason to withdraw. He then charged me to write up his withdrawal and the filing fee. I have since heard that this is a pattern of his. I don't know if this is how all the attorneys in this office practice, but it seems like a big scam to me. I typically don't write reviews but I want to warn anyone else out there who may be fooled by him. He'll just take your money and withdraw, leaving you to start all over. DO NOT HIRE HIM!

I worked with Howard O. Bernstein, P.C. during a complex and emotionally charged dispute, and the…read moreoutcome exceeded my expectations. Howard's strength is his pragmatic command of the law and his ability to move a case forward efficiently. He focused on leverage, timing, and real-world outcomes rather than unnecessary posturing. His approach was disciplined, strategic, and clear-eyed, which helped drive the matter toward a resolution that was more than I expected and ultimately sufficient for both sides. This case could have dragged on unnecessarily, but Howard consistently kept it moving with purpose. I also want to specifically recognize Lindsey Harriman, Paralegal. Her patience, diligence, and professionalism were critical throughout the process. She was responsive, organized, and consistently on top of the details, which made a meaningful difference in keeping everything on track. This team's combined professionalism and execution are the reason we reached a fair and effective conclusion. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for results-focused legal representation.
