Review for a Saturday night, accidental stop by.
Ok, so probably more people hanging out, sitting on the steps outside at 2 am, and you're thinking that maybe its a grunge fest with people exchanging a few illegal things. Not a scary crowd at all, bunch younger 20s seems, just seems like where Kurt Cobain might have sat around.
Inside, its tiny. You get why everyone is outside. There is a balcony I heard, but I didn't go out to it. The great thing is whatever the song, they actually let it play through to the end, or at least near it, unlike most DJs in Vienna. The bar seems to have limited selection in drinks, the whiskey coke we ordered turned out to be about 3 Euros, and I am pretty sure they just gave us Coke, but that's ok. Hard to get to the bar though, and a bit pushy/crowded. A bit smokey, but not horribly so. Terrible ventilation though; on a hot night, its like walking into a wall of humidity and heat.... if your friends push you to go on and survive, and you have friends who can dance making idiots of themselves, then you'll have a good time.
Bathroom: No idea. Good luck because its was super crowded on the dance floor to begin with (actually, its mainly just one room probably smaller than the size of your apartment, with a bar and a DJ, and a few tables on one side, and then this balcony I didn't notice).
Overall, more dive bar-y with a little extra something, so if you are not super dressed up, and want to fake dance with your friends, and you happen to be walking by, no cover, go in, and if its not cool, go out, no harm done! read more
