I came here for an evening class and really enjoyed it. It is not in a heated room, but the yoga style was very much what I was used to, mostly Vinyasa and flow into each movement. The studio is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Nice changing room with ample space for all your things. There is a nice sitting area to just chill out, drink some hot tea, and to get to know other yogis. The yoga studio is upstairs and in a beautiful slanted room with nice windows. I really enjoyed the 90 minute session and when I am in Brussels, I will always stop in for a yoga class. For newbies, you can get two classes for 10 Euros. Great deal and a little piece of nirvana in Brussels!

Everything is put together to make you feel at ease, the colours of the wall, the tea prepared by the teachers, the big smile they have when they welcome you. No doubt there are some very good vibes floating around. I personally find their registration process very easy and their communications fluid and beautiful. They teach different type of yogas, including pre- and post-natal and they welcome all levels (that means they remain friendly to me despite my appalling level). Classes are taught in English. The prices are good (I can tell, I have done my market research). I would just advise that you give it a try. See you on the mat?

Some friend spoke to me about Haein Yoga Studio, a new studio that recently opened in Saint Gilles. I come two to three times a week since beginning of January and am already an addict :-) The studio is situated in a very nice apartment close to Place Stephanie. What do I like so much about it? Well first, Haein is an amazing teacher. She found the perfect balance between relaxation and challenging posture to me. She explain very well all positions, I never felt as secure while practicing yoga (don't hesitate speak to her about your health condition before the class). And finally, I love her homemade vegan cookies/cake that she offers at the end of each class. It creates a very nice homey atmosphere, very far from practicing in a gym or big studio. Finally, Haein is also teaching AcroYoga, a mix between yoga and acrobatic that you practice at two. Quite fun! What could be better? Well, the sound of the doorbell is terrible and when someone arrive when the class is starting it is a little bit upsetting. Maybe in a couple of months I'll be zen enough not to be bother by it any more ;-)

She teaches on Monday evening and Wednesday evening. She also gives Accro Yoga on Tuesday evening. The studio itself is located in a beautiful apartment of Saint Gilles, Rue St Bernard. It is a real heaven of peace!
