I loved this place!! It was such a fun and lively place to grab dinner and a drink. What we ordered: they have rotting beers, but they let me try two of the fruity beers- I settled for the passion fruit. It was delicious! The price is fair for the quality. For dinner, you order at the counter. I ordered the veggie burger. It was probably one of the best I've had! It was juicy and flavorful. If I lived in Copenhagen, this would be my weekly hang out spot!

What's the only thing better than having a burger? Obviously having a burger in any other country other than the states. When I saw the menu for this place serving quality burgers along with killer brunch items, I was sold. BRUS is also a much talked about brewery with a changing menu of suds to satisfy any beer snob. Unfortunately for me, beer is forever off my menu and the husband prefers cider. So we settled with enjoying the food. We each got the beef burger and I got mine lettuce wrapped to avoid gluten. The truffle mayo was great and I didn't miss the bun at all. My tea was served in a super cute teapot which obviously made it taste even better. The restaurant has lots of natural lighting with big generous windows and is a great space for sitting with friends and relaxing with snacks and a drink. We only had time to pop in for a bite and couldn't spend much time here but it definitely seems like a popular place. They also have a great patio area but it was unutilzed considering the February weather.

My final dinner in København, I was pleased to find seating inside. Great and very friendly service, excellent beers and a fabulous meal. While BRUS is definitely designed around "sharing," I had the pork shank as a meal for one. It is a HUGE piece of meat and it was delicious. Served on top of sauerkraut and with an order of fries on the side, I did okay but still left quite a bit behind. This is the sort of place that you'll want to enjoy with a friend or friends. Great beers on tap - two dozen of them - plus a number of other cocktails. I had a GREAT time here and would definitely recommend BRUS for sure.

I was in Kopenhagen for two days, going back and forth between Malmö in Sweden and Denmark. An trip. I am an anal traveler, so I have the places I want to visit (especially food) planned out in advance. Enter BRUS. I wanted to try a burger not from the States-- I don't like hamburgers; and I wanted Danish beer. Why? Because it's Danish beer. I had been in Holbaek earlier in the day and made some new friends while touring so I had them come meet me after they went back to their place and changed-- they were also from New York and happened to know friends of mine. Serendipity across the world. Anyway, moving to why we're here. Drinks: I went with the tricerahops. Easy drinking, light, 6.2% ABV. Nothing heavy. My friend has the Cucumber G&T- gin and tonic. And I think the other has the Pineapple Expression. I can't remember off the top of my head, but all solid drinks. Food: The main course. Burgers, Korean Fried Chicken (I know, what?), and fermented fries with fermented mushroom mayo (again, what). Now, the burger hater in me was not excited to try this. But the foodie in me knew it was time to throw away my inhibitions, and boy am I glad I did. Dense, soft, well-seasoned, cooked to perfection. I like my beef medium. All I heard around the table was silence. I take that as a really good sign because we all got burgers. The fries made no sense. Who decides to ferment fries? And why wasn't it done sooner? These fries were crisp, texture was amazing, and the taste was so different. So there was also vanilla ice cream. I did not Oh the space? It's a brewery. So open industrial with so many tables. But there are also plants, so mixed industrial with a touch of nature. Either way, very comfortable. Next time in Kopenhagen, guess where I'm going? You guessed it: BRUS. As always, happy eating and drinking. MarieMG. partake, though I did have a small bite. They could not stop talking about it for 2h post. Safe to say it was delicious.

Blown away by how much I loved BRUS. Sadly for my wallet, I'm sure I will become a regular here. There are few things in this world I love more than a really really good craft beer so that being said I am head over heels for BRUS. Such a great selection of draft beers here, and in my opinion they're a great price. BEER: Over 20 draft beers that are available in small and large sizes. Whatever you want, I'm sure they have it and you'll love it. I am a huge IPA fan so I tried two of their IPAs - both of which were amazing. My friend tried a Pale Ale and an American Pale Ale and they were equally great. My one and only suggestion to BRUS would be to offer flights of beer, as this is a great way for people to try out beers. Since they have so many beers on tap I feel like this would be an easy idea to implement for them. FOOD: We only had a basket of their potato chips, but it was the perfect side to a nice beer. Next time I go I'll definitely try the snack plate, which the people sitting next to us ordered and we drooled over the entire evening. It looked like a great mix of items to nibble on throughout the night. SPACE: Such an interesting layout/concept going on here. The space is divided into three sections - a restaurant, the bar (BRUS), and a small shop. There are no dividers so the whole space is very open and it's nice to be able to see everything going on around you. It also makes it easy to wander around and check things out. For the bar, there is indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is a mix of bar seats, long tables and booths so there is a good variety. No problem finding a seat on a Friday night. Lots of larger groups there and the seating didn't seem to be a problem for them either. ATMOSPHERE: Dimly lit space with candles and minimal decoration - very modern and Scandinavian. Nice atmosphere here, but the bar does get pretty loud when it's crowded. We used semi-loud voices once the seats started filling up. BRUS was everything I expected and more. I am so so happy that (1) this place exists in Copenhagen and (2) it is very close to my apt. Can't wait to return and try more of their beers.

It's hard to praise anything in this review that Rebecca M. has not already mentioned. Great drinks, great service.. and I think I smelled kimchi there! I'll have to investigate the restaurant section and snack board later.. The drink menu looks a lot like the one at Mikropolis, with a nice selection of beers from Mikkeller and To Øl as well as several cocktails to choose from. One can check the current menu on their website. My favourite Skovsyrligt is displayed and there is more seating available here, which makes me even more happy to come by. So far I've tried the Space Apples and Rum Dancer, both of which were 65 dkk and made quickly but with care. The bartenders are very nice and it's easy to get their attention if they haven't spotted you already. And like Mikropolis, the bubbly water is free! Although it looks a bit industrial with the high ceilings and spartan decoration, the place still feels cozy with a lot of natural light and clean wood. There is a lot of brewing equipment in the back and plenty of beers on sale up front. Brus is strategically placed smack in the middle of Inner Nørrebro with neighbors Bæst, Mirabelle, and Empire Bio so you can get dinner before a movie and then get your drink on afterward. In good weather and with all those tables outside, this is a place that you must visit!

Great beer, solid cocktail options, and awesome bites. This place is wonderful for all dining options and group sizes. Came here after a light dinner and had a couple of beers and some snacks - it was great! Friendly staff, wide beer/meal variety, and spacious atmosphere are the three main reasons why I'd recommend this spot. Will definitely come back!
