A fun ride going into bruny island. It cost $33 for a round trip to take this ferry. You pay when you go in at the ferry gate(no need to purchase ticket in advance), and you don't have to show receipt or anything when you return. In their spring/summer time they have 2 ferries operating and comes every 30 min. While in the fall/ winter, there is only one. On the ferry you can get out, go up to the upper deck (if you on the Mirabeena) to enjoy the view. It is a very pleasant ride to see the island of Tasmania! Very much worth the time visiting bruny island. Side note, there is a bathroom on the ferry incase you are rushing to catch the ferry. :) read more

So easy. We had a pleasant ride in our rental car over to Bruny on the Ferry. I would highly recommend making the trip, as the island is beautiful, easy to navigate and has delicious food and beer. This ferry makes it all possible. Please make sure to check the times and get back to the ferry before the last ride of the day. read more

All a ferry needs to be . Was a smooth ride and fairly cheap. The ferry leaves every half hour and is the only access to Bruny island.
