Fun park! It was a nice place to bring the kids as long as you avoid the bird section. There are…read morelots of animals and a big area to enjoy. Unfortunately the bird section is sad. Small cages, and the larger birds like Hawks and Eagles are chained to the ground. At first we didn't know that the birds were chained down until we saw an eagle try to fly up, and quickly fall back to the ground. Horrifying to the kids.

Very nice large enclosure for some of the large birds and ducks. Sadly the bird of prey section is something to be desired. The large Eagles and Owls were chained to perches and couldn't fly around, the rest were in small cages and tied to a perch. Over all a nice little zoo to hang out for the day.

Early on in the…read moreday when I first walked over, it was lovely and tranquil with amazing views back over the Rhein towards the main town, including the dominant structure of the Kolner Dom There are a few concert venues and other buildings within the park that I didn't visit. I was heading to the Claudius Therme baths and this park was a lovely route to get there Incidentally, the baths are amazing and well worth a visit On my way back, the park was filled with the sound of happy kids playing in the large playground, which looked fun
