I ordered an arrangement to send to a friend to celebrate her engagement. The arrangement delivered looked nothing like what I ordered. I posted images to showcase the difference. Although the woman I spoke to was nice and tried to find a solution, I feel the product was misrepresented and would not order from them again. She told me they had to make substitutions due to availability, but it's so drastically different I was not impressed. She offered me a small refund, but it didn't make up for the fact that my friend got a pathetic arrangement to celebrate such an exciting time in her life. read more

If it were possible for a florist to earn 0 stars, this would be our rating of our one and only experience in doing business with Brunet Florist. On the day we became proud grand parents of our first granddaughter, we decided to send an appropriate "She's Lovely" bouquet. As one would expect with such a named bouquet, the photo offered for this arrangement was made up of two hues of pink, high quality flowers, perfect to celebrate the birth of any little baby girl. It was expensive and the photo reflected this extravagance. Very unfortunately, what was delivered was an arrangement anyone could have picked up at any Walmart or Food Basics flower pail. Informed of our disappointment, Brunet Florist argued with us that somehow a pink basket sufficed in being similar to the provided photo online. Brunet told us that they used what they had available, low-budget flowers, not one pink, and did not think it necessary to share this information with us before delivering them. She referred to a substitution policy which allowed her to send whatever she wanted to send. She offered us a refund ONLY if we would humiliate ourselves in having a delivery person pick up her disappointment from the new parents. We choose to hang onto our pride and therefore, Brunet refused any compensation to us. We have today arranged for what we had originally purchased to be sent but this time from a REPUTABLE florist. This business is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and our advise to you is to remember this review before spending your hard earned money with Brunet Florist. They currently have a 1.0 rating with Yelp but it should be lower still. read more

I had an absolutely terrible experience with ordering flowers through flowershopping.com who then contracted my order out to Brunet Florist. The order was nothing like what what pictured on the website when I ordered the bouquet, the clear glass vase was substituted for a mug with "Pick me up* written all over it. The occasion was a retirement so this makes no sense. The little card that is included was completely blank, no name, no specific message that I had included in my order. When I contacted flowershopping.com to complain about the embarrassing quality of this bouquet and the delivery they said that they would ask Brunet Florist to consider remaking the bouquet and sending it. This was denied by Brunet Florist because according to their substitution policy, they had done nothing wrong apparently. I am out of province so these flowers were meant to be special to celebrate a big milestone for a family member, however I am left with disappointment. Do not order from flowershopping.com or Brunet Florist unless you like embarrassing yourself and wasting money. read more

I wish I had read previous reviews prior to ordering. Flowers were delivered on time but eventhough they say they may substitute, it is for certain they will. They omitted the more expensive fowers and added cheaper ones & greenery. They also subsitute the pink cube for a vase that we could purchase at a dollar store. I placed an order for Mother's Day with their Rockland location. 8 days after Mother's Day the order still has not been delivered, yet they have taken my money. I have left many phone messages at both the Kanata and Rockland location, as well as speaking to the staff member at the Rockland location who advised me all complaints were passed on to her Manager. They have made no attempt at calling me back, or replying to my emails. I have never dealt with a company as unprofessional as this one- horrible service and unresponsive. I would rate this a zero if I could. My brother passed away over the Christmas holidays and a service was booked in January. Because I live out of town, I placed an order online 2 weeks prior to the service with a specific note to have them delivered to the funeral home for January 7th in order for them to be there for the service. I received an email confirmation from them saying they received my order and would deliver the arrangement or possibly could substitute for something similar. When we arrived to the service from out of town the flowers were no where to be found. They did not deliver them on the 7th because they were not open on Tuesdays???? It would have been appreciated if they had taken the initiative to let me know so that I could have made other arrangements. Very disappointed to see this type of service specially during a time of sorrow. Flowers were never delivered. I would definitely not recommend using this florist for any occasion. read more

Flowers were delivered two days before the date that I had requested. I called and explained that I had requested them for a specific date to mark a special occasion. They apologized and said that they would send another bouquet on the requested date. No other bouquet was ever delivered. When I asked for a refund, they said they would only refund half of my money since they did send flowers (even though it was the wrong date). No money was ever refunded to my credit card read more
