I've planted many trees over the years and not all of them take however, I have never had such a bad experience when purchasing trees from a nursery. Not all trees take for whatever reason and the two nurseries I have dealt with in the past, upon proof of purchase and proof of the tree having no life, they replaced the trees with no cost to me. This is NOT the case at Brumond Smith Nursery. They are NOT standing behind their product. Maggie was very nice and helpful when I purchased the tree for a wedding gift. However, when the tree failed to take, they told the newly weds that they could pay half the cost of the tree to have it replaced. I'm sorry but to me this solution is just not an acceptable.
