In comes Melanie, who I happened to find by accident through a Yelp promo email. She had another shoot earlier in the day, but bc we were doing a later beach elopement ceremony and reception, she could do it! Signing the contract and working out all the details online and via email was easy. She sent me some paperwork to give her details and then we had a phone conversation to discuss and get to know one another. On the day of - she texted me, showed up exactly on time, and was a dream to work with. So friendly, so kind, so helpful. She went above and beyond for me and my family and was so easygoing. She posed us wonderfully and rolled with the punches when a few things didn't go as planned (it's a wedding, it's going to happen!). Absolutely professional. The photos we've been given so far as a preview are stunning and I can't wait to see the others. Everyone raved about how kind she was and how much they liked our photographer afterwards, and when we've sent a few photos, they've all been blown away. Her gallery room/ office made my family feel very comfortable and at home while we photographed our baby. Since Erin has young children of her own she was a natural with my baby which was such a relief. I am always so anxious about my little one having a dirty diaper or spit up, getting the smash cake everywhere but Erin was so gracious and was super hands on. She emailed right away and we were able to talk through email, texting and a quick phone call. What I loved about Erica was her fast communication through email/texting. At the time that I found Erica I was in California and I had my (now fiancé) speak to Erica a few times because of our time difference. Erica and Tony kept in touch with planning our session which made it super easy for me to just focus on outfits. Lol! I let her know I was looking for maternity & outdoor photoshoot. She exceeded my expectations. We confirmed date and time then she let me know the location few days closer to our photoshoot date. Erica certainly knows how to pose (Tony & I) since were not photogenic lol. We received our photos in a drop box pretty fast! She emailed me the link. Our pictures were edited as well.
