I am writing to express my profound gratitude and utmost respect for Nick Roumel of Roumel Law, a…read morehighly seasoned trial attorney whose expertise, compassion, and dedication are truly unparalleled. Nick was referred to me by Don Molosky, our family attorney from Harbor Springs/Petoskey, Michigan, who has served us faithfully for two decades as we have dealt with workplace bullies in the past. For the past five years, Nick has steadfastly stood by my side through some of the most challenging and painful periods of my life, navigating the complexities of a legal battle against a formidable healthcare system over discrimination and tortious interference with a business relationship. From the very beginning, Nick Roumel believed in me and my case. His approach was not only professional and strategic but also deeply personal. He took the time to understand the intricacies of my situation, ensuring that every action taken was in my best interest. His knowledge of employment law, the Federal Fair Claims Act, and retaliation is extensive, and his ability to apply it effectively in the face of daunting challenges and layers of complexities is nothing short of remarkable. Throughout this prolonged legal journey, Nick's support was unwavering. He provided not just legal representation but also a source of strength and hope. His communication was always clear and timely, keeping me informed and at ease amidst the legal complexities. His negotiation skills are exceptional; he seeks win-win solutions and resolutions out of court. The outcome not only represents a significant personal victory but also stands as a testament to his skill and perseverance. Nick Roumel's passion for justice and commitment to his clients is evident in everything he does. He goes above and beyond to ensure that the voices of the marginalized are heard and respected. It's rare to find someone who combines such professional acumen with genuine care and empathy. So much so that I named my service dog, whom I purchased for hospice/hospital care, after him--"Nikko." I cannot recommend Roumel Law highly enough to anyone facing employment-related legal issues. His guidance and advocacy have made a profound difference in my life, and I am forever grateful for his support and belief in me. Nick is not just an exceptional attorney but a true ally in the fight for justice and fairness in the workplace. He has offices in Ann Arbor, Traverse City, and Marquette, Michigan, making it very convenient to work with the person I deem the very best attorney in employment law, retaliation, and discrimination legal cases. Thank you, Elizabeth M. Teklinski, PhD "p.s. Nick kicks ass!" --Andrew Teklinski, MD

Adrienne has been a pleasure to work with over from the beginning and continues to represent me. My auto insurance company began denying injury related claims in 2011 which caused my health insurance company to pay those bills. Adrienne has been willing to file suit against the auto carrier every few years to compel them to reimburse my health insurance carrier. In 2019, the auto carrier thought it a good idea to take the case to a jury trial. Adrienne and her firm prepared with depositions of the auto carrier adjuster and two of my physicians without any cost to me. The auto carrier brought forth six independent medical examination physician depositions. Adrienne was amazing. It was such a pleasure to watch her try the case. In the end, the jury was instructed to consider six different questions; did I suffer injuries from the accident, were my various necessary medications listed one by one due to the accident, were my ongoing treatments and physician visits necessary due to the accident and should the insurance company pay interest for the treatments and medications not paid in a timely manner. Adrienne received a unanimous jury verdict in my favor on all of those questions. Adrienne was a pleasure to be with the three days the jury trial lasted. She was professional and pleasant at all times. She gave me excellent advice. She is an incredible attorney and an amazing litigator. I wouldn't want any other attorney or firm to handle my auto injury case. The entire experience was a lesson in preparation and professionalism and one that I learned much from. Adrienne Logeman has always demonstrated the best of qualities and cares for her clients. It was a pleasure watching her work.

Wish I could assign 0 stars. Among several other items that make Bill Babut and this firm…read moreunprofessional, unreliable, and careless, this "attorney" didn't even show up for court!!!! Bill was happy to be paid; once I was officially his client, he didn't seem interested in returning my desperate calls for basic information (3 went unanswered over a period of 10 days; by the 4th call and my insistence, the secretary patched me in...) Does he understand that when people go to an attorney, it's a big deal and, for them, there is a lot at stake? Worse, besides being completely absent of any phone or email communication (what my options might be, what the cost might be, what the timetable would look like, etc.), he does the unthinkable - and of course doesn't apologize for it, doesn't even talk to me before or afterward. After he unnecessarily got my (extremely simple) matter postponed to another hearing (more billable hours, anyone?), HE FORGOT TO SHOW UP TO COURT. Of course, per his usual, we didn't talk beforehand (did I mention he's always unavailable and doesn't return calls?), but I assumed - incorrectly - that he had a calendar and knew that he was supposed to be in court to represent me. Wrong. The judge waited and waited and finally pushed me to a different time. After my frantic call to Babut's secretary in the meantime, he was mysteriously "found" in Jackson and phoned in to court (in every sense of the word) and was *completely unprepared.* After one pulls a no-show in court, wouldn't the client expect a phone call? Nothing. Do not trust this man or his firm with anything important. He is the worst.
