I thought it may be a good idea if something major went wrong. NOT! The truck has been at Bruce Ford shop for two and a half months and they still have not figured out the problem. Austin, the service advisor, must have taken a course on excuses as he keeps coming up with new ones. The truck has been sitting for weeks at a time with no progress. My thoughts are, I paid for the warranty, and they have my money. Now I am at the bottom of any priority list. My advice to anyone with a Ford issue, take it to any dealer but Bruce. I had the car towed to my mehanic and he was horrified when he saw the collapsed rotor. He also informed me that the other rotor was getting ready to collapse. He said that those rotors should have been replaced two years ago and that there is no way that car should have passed MVI when I bought it. I filed a complaint with vehicle compliance. Vehicle compliance agreed that it seemed suspicious and said that they were glad that I came forward with my complaint. Do yourself a favour and buy a car somewhere else because these guys will literally put your safety in jeopardy just to save money.

Within a month, it was a little surprising that all wipers were torn and needed to be replaced (even the rear one). Seemed minor but also bizarre since the vehicle had to be safetied and all wipers going at once is definitely strange. By November, the car was having a hard time starting. Had the battery tested and it was basically toast - had to buy a new one. How do you sell a car with a battery that dies in 3 months? Then, less than 18 months after buying the car, all brakes and rotors had to be replaced with less than 8000kms driven. A ball joint also had to be replaced but that could have been due to the roads. Despite this being a used car, the amount of work that was required in such a short amount of time would have been known to the dealership. The sale price should have better reflected this. When we offered a lower price, we were assured that the price was fair and that 'everything' was in good order on this vehicle. If you're going to be buying here, I strongly suggest taking the vehicle in for a second look somewhere else. Looking back, the paperwork was just too easy here and I feel this place isn't very honest about how they safety their vehicles and future work that will be needed.
